The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

A Long-expected Party, The Fellowship of the Ring

Another year has nearly passed and with it fellow LotR-fans could see plenty of updates for mods if not even the release of new modding projects, they could see in screenshots and videos the eager work of many people who spent a lot of their freetime at something which they love to do, they could feel with the modders who announced the end of their projects, they could read about the plans, visions and aspirations of what might come with the new year when the days are becoming longer again.

Now with the end of the year everyone also gains again the opportunity to nominate their favourite mods for the '2019 Mod of the Year Awards'. As I did last year I list here again nine modding projects which earn a nomination. Don't hate me if your favourite mod is not present but it should only become a short overview, you can still skip through the lists to find your favourites. Be aware that you can nominate multiple candidates, so you can also just click for them all ^^

The Last Days (of The Third Age of Middle Earth)
