PeZBOT is a multiplayer bot-mod for Call of Duty 4 and World at War. The aim of the mod is to introduce A.I. to local multiplayer games so those who choose not to go online or prefer to practice against bots before doing so, can.

The newest released version of PeZBOT for Call of Duty 4 or World at War will always be available in the "Downloads" section, here on ModDB.

The source code for PeZBOT 011p (CoD4) and 005p (WaW) has now been released. I had initially wanted to release versions 012p and 006p but have lost interest in modding and have moved on to other games. This will likely be the last update here, though I may occasionally check back. I have (or will) create some new forum sections for sharing your custom PeZBOT versions.

I cant add bots, when i type /svr_pezbots 9 in the console it says unknown cmd /svr_pezbots 9. I followed all the instructions.

i think you didn't. You have to run pezbots sfg file too. It the thing what makes pezbots work

Hi Everyone...
I recently used PeZBOT 011 but I have a slight problem...
I get killstreaks like CRAZY but I don't get the option for calling in
artillery or radar or the helicopter...Why? If anyone has information regarding my problem please share as I would be really grateful

Hi,

One common cause is the mod is running without the pezbot.cfg which happens if you run it from the mods menu and not from a shortcut as per the Installation.txt intructions in the ReadMe folder. If not that then it has to be some other error you made when installing it or a problem with your CoD4 game itself...

Re: Sabotage Bomb Glitch

When I tested 011p with the warp fix added I didn't get that glitch - which seemed a bit odd given I'd witnessed it the other day in another 011p variation. So I've tracked down the "On/Off switch" and it appears to be the console log. Simply turn it off with: set logfile "0" and no more glitch...

But...

Just in case you are one of those people that plays Sabotage on your own (i.e. no friendly bots) AND you also want to monitor the console_mp.log, here is a fix:

Line 3028:
tempObjectivePos = self.bestTarget.origin;

Line 3029:
if(isDefined(level.waypoints) && level.waypointCount > 0)

change to

Line 3028:
tempObjectivePos = protectTarget.origin;

Line 3029:
if(isDefined(level.waypoints) && level.waypointCount > 0 && isdefined(self.bestTarget))

(Note: If you have already edited your 011p with a previous alteration/update then the line numbers may be out, so simply search for "if one of my team members has the bomb, shoot bad guys" and the lines you are looking for are 6 lines below..).

I might dropbox my FIXED - FIXED pezbot.iwd for all who want it.
Besides these fixes no other modifications will be made.

PezBots has much to improve on, like the fluidity of bot movement, but otherwise they suffice in providing a satisfactory offline multiplayer experience.
