PeZBOT is a multiplayer bot-mod for Call of Duty 4 and World at War. The aim of the mod is to introduce A.I. to local multiplayer games so those who choose not to go online or prefer to practice against bots before doing so, can.
The newest released version of PeZBOT for Call of Duty 4 or World at War will always be available in the "Downloads" section, here on ModDB.
Please report any bugs you may find in the mod, in the PeZBOT ModDB Forums, and happy fragging.

- This is pre-alpha code, meaning it is in no way feature complete and may be full of bugs!
- The following maps are waypointed to work with PeZBOT SWM: mp_bestine, mp_cloud_city, mp_tatooine, mp_rebellion, mp_anchorhead, mp_jundland, mp_jundland_dusk. Note: mp_not_a_cave is NOT supported!
- Bots have been tested and working on version 1.7 of Call of Duty 4. (Please do not report any bugs found with older versions!)

If you find any errors then please let me know - this includes bots getting stuck on objects or random places on the map, I only briefly tested the maps.

PezBots has much to improve on, like the fluidity of bot movement, but otherwise they suffice in providing a satisfactory offline multiplayer experience.

Version 11p is bugged and you can fix this quit easily with “win.rar” and a decent text editor.

“Search & Destroy”, Sabotage and actually any game-mode with multiple rounds is now possible!

The solution I posted here is a fix for the mistake that I originally made back in 2010 (see 011p credits in the ReadMe.txt). I left the PeZBOT Team some time after 011p's release so I'm not in a position to provide an official update, but posting the fix here seemed the next best thing. I hope you will take my recent post into consideration when I am brought before the modding equivalent of the European Court of Justice and shamed for this mistake... ;)
I'm glad you like PEZZALUCIFER's mod and it's great to see your enthusiasm for it, but please keep in mind before you crusade against the people that freely provided you with it that they are NOT obligated to do any work for you, just as you are not obligated to do any work for them in return.
Please note in Part 1 of the ReadMe the following disclaimer: "This is pre-alpha code, meaning it is in no way feature complete and may be full of bugs, use at your own risk."
You may also like to note that permission is given for you to continue to develope the mod in your own free time, and to then release it to the community under the conditions set out in the Disclaimer. As such, it is not necessary for you to "demand" the free time of others. Lord_Gannondorf, the sole remaining member of the PeZBOT Team, has put in many years of service and support for this mod and to the people that enjoy it, and richly deserves a break (or retirement) from that time consuming task.
I hope you continue to enjoy the mod and wish you the best of luck should you choose to release your own updated version.

A lot of hard work has been put into getting this mod to where it is now and though it's not perfect it does work really well for most.
I first came across this mod back in 2008 and started conversing with Pezz (Pezzalucifer - mod creator) at a time when it was in its first non-public release.
He kindly allowed me to start publicising his mod on the FileFront forums, to give it some exposure.

Since then the mod has gone from strength to strength and that's down to the help and dedication of developers who give up their free time to work on it.
But everyone has their limits and normal life takes you away from supporting such things, plus sometimes you probably feel you've done all you can and have reached your limits.
I've not publicised this mod for some time purely because I've not had the time and also because I've moved on to new games, though CoD MW will always be something I'll come back to from time to time.
So please don't give developers a hard time. Anyone can take up further development of this mod but always remember to give credit to those who have worked on it (see readme file, my names in their too).

Please fix the Bot Freeze bug in the Old School gameplay mode, the Bots freeze (they don't do nothing except "Moonwalking") from the beginning but if I shoot/kill them, they are no longer do a Moonwalking crap, things look back to normal.
Not a bug, Old School mode isn't supported.
I hope, 012p is coming soon. I have a PeZBOT server for CoD4.

I always thought the PeZBOT-team had to choose between the “1 Round limitation per match”(11p), or the “32 Slot limitation per game session”(10p) as a kind of “workaround”?
But now you are saying that this version 11p is just bugged?!
If this is true, shame on you developers!
If I'm able to fix the bug myself, I will upload my “pezbot.iwd” and sell it for 10 euro’s a download!!!
Realize this mod is aimed at noobs who will move straight onto the next best thing when they encounter this warping! You made a little miracle happen, please don’t let it die. Give us a bug-free version 12p PEZBOT with waypoints supporting all these great new CoD4 maps and I will raise a stature of pure gold for you and the entire PeZBOT-team! (You already got the 10/10 Score)
