Yes, that looks a little off, I'll possibly restrict the effect to the scope lens (or binoc), the way I did it for the nightvision scopes.

Perhaps the possibility to add multiple sets of binoculars? I know that isn't the scope of your project but having thermal vision or night vision right off the bat would be game breaking, however finding them in Pripyat stashed away in a box would make sense.

Just a quick vid showing a new thermal/infrared effect I've made. Doesn't use any heat map, so it's purely fake - but still nice, I'd say.

Yes I know there is a mod that does something similar, but believe me, we don't share nor steal each others code :)
