I have no talent for texturing. It's calamitous. And finally, i have few notions for terrain modeling with 3DsMax. About games, I'm a fps gamer, i like Stalker series, Half life series. I like to play few rts as C&C and Red Alert series and one rpg, Skyrim. As all french guys, i'm sorry for my bad english.

As is saw in your profiles and comments, you're working on AA2 mod. So, use the is the better way imo.

As AA2 doesn't use the vanilla all.spawn and vanilla LE scenes, it's not easy to work on LE
You need to merge the AA2 gamedata with Level Editor gamedata, use the aiwrapper.exe to switch the A22 all.spawn to level.spawn and convert all levels with converter.exe.
It's a hard way for novice.

You have three way to do it.
Spawn by script
Spawn by all.spawn and tool
Spawn by Level editor.

About script, i'm not your man.

For all.spawn, you need to use the Position Informer tool or a script to have coordinate in game (the place here you want to place the trader). Next, you open the all.spawn with, you open dark valley .ltx files to add the spawn and the logic pathway.

Look at this (add unique npc):
Ofc, this is a example for neutral stalker, if you want a trader, you need to edit the <community>.
And this one (work on all.spawn):

All explanation about logic:

You can use existing trader files, or create your ones:
Ofc, you need to learn vanilla traders and "custom data".

If you want to use Level Editor to spawn a trader, look at this:

The better way to learn is looking/checking vanilla files.
