V 3.0: Lens flares & dirt, visor reflections / water droplets, god rays, depth of field, night & thermal vision scopes, dynamic wet surfaces with reflections, rainbows, volumetric light & fog, colored speculars and many other effects.
Not yet finalized, thus still a little unpolished but working: In DS 2.0 you will *finally* be able to (de-)activate the NV effect on scopes and binocs by key press ("on-demand").
WITHOUT having to install X-Ray Patch 1.0006 (thanks to DDraig)!!!
Same goes for thermal/infrared vision of course.

This has got to be one of the coolest mod features I've seen in all my stalker history. This seems absolutely amazing.
Believe me: It is! For me it's a pure pleasure to use this feature that has been requested for a long while now. It's DDraig who came up with the idea, though.
It is possible to make realistic red dot sights? With actual glow not just colored texture?
Theoretically possible, but currently not on my roadmap, sorry.

That, is just awesomely cool to be able to switch the scopes on/off like that. Judging by the rest of the video looks like a majority of the shader work is around 80% done?

I thought ShaderSettings would have more configurations for it, so I'm guessing not, but please confirm.
