V 3.0: Lens flares & dirt, visor reflections / water droplets, god rays, depth of field, night & thermal vision scopes, dynamic wet surfaces with reflections, rainbows, volumetric light & fog, colored speculars and many other effects.
A collection of effects I ported from different sources into ShoC. So far there is no plan if and when to use them in-game. Suggestions for possible applications are welcome.
Near death effect, then overlay it with the fade_to_black animation to make the endscreen appear black with the red text on top with the famous words:"Game Over"

The effect is called "dream vision". So I guess near death experience was not the author's intention :-)
That's what the zone can do to a man, everything hinges around life and death, even his dreams :D
Maybe it could be a drugs/fatigue/grenade impact effect.
