If it was Infinity or an SMAC things would be different.
First off, if you had used proper fleet formation the flood destroyer would have been no problem.
Second, the flood can infect anything, be grateful they cant take your space stations.
Third, you could have a super comp, sins doesnt care. They didnt care much for mods when they determined RAM capability.
I have an idea for the covenant victory. Have the view be from just behind the fleet master (ie. you)and through the front "window\" you can see a burning Earth. Kind of like this Unigamesity.com except with more of Earth showing, more fire, and the Covenant fleet in orbit glassing the planet. Oh and no Shepard.
I honestly agree. The voice sounds like some petty officer straight out of basic with nothing but the vastness of space ahead of him. I would imagine more of a gruff, taxed voice. A voice you can tell has been through the likes of Reach and Harvest.
It would appear so until you think about it in depth. This is an act of a desperate enemy almost vanquished. The Necron were in their base which means Necron>Daemons. In the end though who cares? Pretty splosions!!!
Those giant shoulder pads are the jet pack.
Seeing as beta 4 was released 10 days ago, I wouldn't count on it.
For everyone worried about the AI there is a solution. As soon as the game starts turn on instant research and instant construction. Give them about a year or so and they should start pumping out stuff.
The place to put this is in the forum, it's just to big to be here. As for your inquiry, even if it was possible (which it might not be), the team would not put that much effort into a new campaign. Priority is balancing out the factions for skirmish and multiplayer and adding the vanilla campaign back in with a few changes.
Ya definitely, if you don't have time I'm sure someone here including myself would be more than happy to do it for you.
Imperial March, you're welcome. Youtube.com
This is a repost because I don't know if Cylarne saw it before it was moved to page 2. I also put it into the suggestions section of the forums.
I have a possible solution to people asking about IG "sub-factions" in the forum. For those who use the IG you know about the upgrade in the infantry command center that allows you to choose your focus. Infantry, armor, etc. This decision as is doesn't effect you much if you have a large economy, but it could be expanded to act as a very important choice for the IG.
For example, infantry focus could allow special units such as the Death Korps of Krieg as heavy infantry as well as maybe ratlings for scouts. Armor could be the steel legion. Air could allow the elysian drop troops etc etc.
Just an idea, what do you guys think?

Fancy word for high school.
And the conquest begins.
Trailers are a lot of hard work actually, getting good angles and actual battle scenes can take hours to put together and hours more to perfect in an editor. So essentially, while trailers are cool, it isn't their priority, and personally am happy about that. I would prefer gameplay over a cool little trailer any day.
I meant add them as an individual unit for the Guard. I thought that was rather obvious seeing as they fight for said Guard. I guess it wasn't so obvious, my apologies.
Sorry I couldn't edit in time. Are you guys planning on adding the Death Korps of Krieg, those guys are straight legit. Super hard to kill and completely unaware of this thing called "morale."
Quick request doofus, can you guys add a skirmish/MP option to disable airstrikes, normally it's fine but sometimes I'm just not in the mood for the guard and orks to bomb me every five seconds...in the FOW -_-
Inserting little white troops sir.
U talkin **** dog? U talkin **** bout Murica?
When are you going to update the effects. Those are for the cure for cancer or something.
The effects should be +infinite prestige, USA lose all consciousness, and event "USA creates new galactic empire, has infinite swag."
Ok I moved it to the forum as requested.
Guest, you're doing something wrong because the insane AI should bring the wrath of hell down upon you. The AI isn't particularly bright but it definitely uses horde upon horde of people.
One more thing sorry, ork boomy platforms tear through literally everything, even my terminators are slaughtered by them. Anything short of a tank or Tau battlesuit is doomed to die in huge numbers, especially seeing as it opens fire quite out of range for most things.
Some questions for the team, first off I love the mod this IS NOT hate. It is meant to come off as constructive criticism.
So I have put a few dozen hours into this mod and while most things are great, several stand out as being rather irritating.
First things first, the Space Marines, loyal and traitor but especially traitor, are made of tissue paper in comparison to their "real" counter parts. I understand you can't make them realistic because each individual would carve through 500 imperial guard before dying, but they feel a bit too nerfed. They are better than most units but they still seem pitiful compared to what they should be. The necron have obscene build times, I would think SM's would be the same, colossal times but colossal troops.
Second, I have found the myriad weaknesses and strengths of the various factions, but the Tau confound me to this day. Lore does state that everything Tau has obscene range so I accept their cross map bombardments, but I get really irritated when one squad of fire warriors holds the line against something that should shred it apart. The Tau seem well balanced in most places, but their "standard" infantry have no rival of any standard or even some pre elite units. Even space marines are a rough bet to win unless upgraded and full strength.
Finally, melee. Melee units do damage fine, work fine, etc etc, but they have the durability of wet paper. I never get melee units unless I can ambush or drop behind an enemy already engaged, and even then they are cut apart. I don't ask for a damage buff as ranged units should stand a chance, I just ask for a health buff or something to prevent imperial guardsmen or fire warriors from chewing up some big bad daemon warrior as soon as he appears from the fog.
Sorry for taking up so much room, and again, keep up the great work. Anyone let me know if I'm doing something wrong, but especially in the case of melee units I don't know what else to try.
Is it going to be ruthlessly difficult to download again?
Hey guys, just a quick question as to the daemon and inquisition mods, I downloaded them and everything but I cannot seem to get them to work. I tried what the tutorial said but it doesn't activate. UA works perfect as well as tyranid but those do not. Sorry if it's been asked and/or the answer is simple. Thanks.
For those of you who can't be bothered to look into anything before you ask inane questions. Yes it will cost money to obtain. In fact each individual campaign will cost money. Best Way liked what these guys were doing and agreed to help them make it, therefore they are "allowed" to sell it.
