Okay, I promised an update on the last cryptic message.

Beyond the Wall:

In 5.1, players will be able to go beyond the Wall, but as part of an epic quest chain that will see them visiting not only iconic locations but also participate in the Great Ranging that ended at the Fist of the First Men. This will be the first part of a quest chain that will, amongst others, also include a change of leadership for the Night's Watch, an assault on the Wall and the death of many lords.

Performance:

As for the update itself, I have been mainly focusing on optimizing the modification, by removing a lot of unused resources and making the .brf files less cumbersome. This should improve performance dramatically for those who often run out of memory.

Capitals:

As soon as the new questline (at the moment called "Beyond the Wall") is done, I'll focus on a different aspect - making the capital cities more important, both for the player and the actual factions. The first step to this is making the merchant opportunities more important to the player, and to that effect, many of the capital cities (and larger castles) will have special places where you can buy armor meant for only the wealthiest lords.

As a preview, in King's Landing, you'll be able to visit the shop of Tobho Mott:

Could u plz lock essos diplomcy to essos its quite annoying have tyrosh of myr assulting my castles while i am busy in the westerlands or iron isle .

And plz look into the c++ error, i have broke the siege of hornvale took back rain house and just as i am about to enter a battle BAM.

nvm i see that u already fixed the error .

btw i rly love the new changes u have done to the capitals (or going to ) and the new quests, man i cant wait .

weird bug wen siege Qohor u get a siege tower but its incomplete ive tried reloading and re building it the tower and ramp are correct but there is now way for the troops to climb or walk up they all just gather at the bottem and get shot to death so i had to unfortunately cheat to take the city. the ai just tried to take it back from me and there tower was broken too.

Hi im new to the mod and so far i love this mod its verry well done and alout of fun.I was wondering if u could tell me why kings gurd got taken out or removed i would love to be able to recuit or use them as they are my fav troops in the show .If i can already do that then can someone tell me how i was looking and it said they were removed. thanks for the mod and thanks for any reply's

Hey! Great mod! However, i seem to be getting alot of odd crashes! I have played a previous version a few years ago, and remember no problems at all. Now, i get crashes once in a while when attempting to speak with town elders/mayors. It gives me that.. Ach, what's it called? Runtime library something something error.

Is the current version just a tad unstable, do i have a corrupt download, or could it be some sort of issue with my computer/software?

Any help would be appreciated. Since the mod takes quite a while to load, it is horribly annoying when it randomly crashes. It doesn't happen THAT much. I'd say.. Abooout. Every 10 times i talk with a mayor/village elder.
