Ahh, still they're pretty balanced against them, Higaraan/Vagr destroyers can destroy a Paris class frigate, I've seen it.
Also, I can't help but roleplay in my head that I'm fighting the Terrorists before the Covenant appear.
Seems to me they're perfectly cannon, I'm one shotting Vagyr/Higaraan Frigates with them, and dealing heavy damage in one shot to anything above.
Ahh I see, I hope the new Mining vessels aren't as large though, the way they clip through the mining asteroids just bugs me so much.
Well, I played the modd last night, and I love it. I enjoy getting to beat down the original races of this game and I hope in the final version of the game we'll still be allowed to kick their butts.
I think my only problems are visual ones (and the Narwhal but that one has been mentioned enough), which is to say I think the mining vessels are just... WAY to big, cut the size by like half and I think they'd be good. They just seem so stupidly big.
I need to sit down and play this seriously, the AI went in Insane when I teched up early and just rushed me on like 10 planets at once.

I was bugged to hell by sizes, a Tie Fighter the size of a Bridge tower on an ISD? Yes, it bugged me to hell.
In the original Vanilla game it just bugged the HELL out of me that Tie Fighters and X-wings were the size of the Bridge tower on an ISD.
All the ships are canon sizes right? I like realistic size scaling as much as possible.
I would assume the account was hacked, I doubt the mod team would put that up.
I can't wait to play this, I've been dying to play a Star Trek RTS since Armada II doesn't function very well on Windows 7.
I have to say, fun mod, but I was playing Goa'uld and went devoted to Anubis but his Super weapon attack charges really, really fast. I have no problem with the damage but I think the charge up needs to be nerfed from five seconds to 30 at least. So that opposing players have a chance to take the thing out.
Otherwise, fun mod can't wait to see the next update.

Well I gave the Beta a spin and it looks promising, my only question is are the UNSC Ships textured at all? The covenant ships look fine but all the UNSC Vessels look all... mucked up I guess is the term I'd use.
Blender is a free 3D modeling program, I think it has a enough plugins to support the many varied 3D model file types.

Been following this mod for ages, I still can't wait to play it.
They have a new AI called Barnmaddo or something like that. It was made by a person on the library forums. Granted the AI doesn't really MOVE, but it does build ships, and will send Patrolstars and Shieldstars, plus fighters and corvettes.
The Caps sit back, but hey, it works well.
So yes, Skirmish does work.
I'm going to assume, it would be a good Idea to not add this with KM1.0, yes?

Future Wars, for Armada II, is set in the far flung future of the Trek-universe. Since this mod is that mods little brother, it's only natural it would contain the same ship designs and such.
