For people and teams developing mods and games with Valve's Source engine.

Most Source development activity goes on at the Valve Developer Community wiki, or Steam forums. This group is more like an outlet of those on ModDB than a community in its own right.

Hi, I don't mean to advertise although this is essentially what I'm doing.
Check out Steamcommunity.com (a link to my newly created group "Sorce-Mods Revival Initiative")

Hopefully with a more centralized communications center more users can get involved, either by simply populating the servers and spreading the word further, or for the Pros to give their two cents. Hopefully we can revive the mods out there which are without dev teams or a servers.

cheers,

xanderkrews

help me build this the steam group called "Source-Mods Revival Initiative"
link: Steamcommunity.com

at the moment there are no members because i have just created it, but in time, it can be really awesome. I would just ask of anyone who sees this to join the group and give their thoughts.

maybe one day scar3cr0w, maybe one day we won't have people like dec1234 telling you to fuck off to a group that doesn't exist.

Wrong area to be posting that crap.

Who would want to help a troll like you make a terrible mod?

that is certainly not the kind of encouragement that is encouraged =D

btw scar3cr0w is actually trying to make a mod, sure it may not be as stellar as yours, though I do not care to discover for myself.

have a grand time

p.s. where else is there a centralized group where sprouting source modders can receive support from other source modders?

if you go to www.moddb.com you will find that it is THIS group, so don't trash it.
