Seen as Zbrush sculpts can be exported into obj you may need to retopologise and bake normals onto a lower poly mesh to reach the polycount limit of the engine but otherwise it should be possible to do.

This scripts are working fine in 3DS, but they create "invalid faces" (elongated and thin polygon) that xray engine can not support.

btw: i work with 3ds max, and it has to be exported to unity. so it has to work outside the 3ds render engine.

I don't know if this will work but i think a low poly cylinder set to follow a path might work otherwise your best bet is alpha planes of rope textue. Follow this link
