Journey into the gritty and not particularly pleasant world of Max Payne. This third person action game features a strong storyline and an altogether interesting antihero. Max Payne is a gritty journey to the present day New York City during the worst winter blizzard in a century. The thriller pulp story keeps the players guessing right on till the end. The game shoots from the lowest slum pits to the greatest skyscraper heights, leaving behind a trail of corpses, splatters of blood, and empty brass rolling on the floor.

Hello!
Facebook followers will have already seen these, but here are some new screens from The Real World mod. Progress is going well as I lock down the combat and polish the mod as best I can. At the moment I'm mostly working on Trinity's levels. If you haven't seen this mod before, I would invite you to watch some of the videos we've released over the last... eight and a half years. :S If it's any consolation, the good news is I'm planning to release another demo around, or just after Christmas time.

Why is a third person shooter listed as a first person shooter? :/
why is this listed under single/multiplayer when it doesn't have a multiplayer mode?

The best Thirdperson Shooter so far, but the movement in Max Payne 2 is better.
Ive modded both titles alot, but never wanted to make a map because i dont like the map editor included in the DevTools.
And i think this wont change.
max payne ******* rocks! I'm lucky enough to live near a street called "PAYNE" street.

This is without a doubt the best game I have ever played. Such a cool story with cheesy dialogue spoken with such drama :D
And lets not forget the graphics, the diverse levels, the high interactivity (Even today there aren't many games that let you flush toilets/screw around with furniture/turn on/off tvs/ open drawers) the massive bodycount, the special effects and last but not least the secrets, I found a secret not too long ago even after playing this game for the last five years :D
you can always download an iso backup for the game....
but you must erase the backup after 24 hours (yeh sure)...
