Hello! The Max Payne Remixed mod team consists of a few passionate modders with a strong love for the Max Payne franchise. We are only 3 people right now so we're looking to expand our team. The scope of remastering Max Payne is quite large and there is a lot to be done. We are also aiming for a high quality production with lots of attention to detail. Therefore, we need more people! New helping hands for this project.
Right now we need 3D modelers and someone to organize a Github page and the mod files!

Path tracing on AMD graphics cards is virtually unplayable, at least on the weaker ones (6800 and the like).
Hello all, how's going? Hope to see future updates soon, like remodeled weapons & textures and remodeled Max Payne character models with textures soon, I still can't figure how to fix missing music and missing audio from graphic novels thou, any idea on how to fix it? I have italian version of game with latest official patch. Thanks in advance to all.

Hi lorenzitto! Sorry for the late reply. It's going good! When we have something to share, we will :) Oh remodeled weapons and textures are absolutely coming. Unfortunately, it's not possible to remodel the Max character model, due to limitations within Remix. But we might be able to do it via traditional modding. do we have to install all the stuff from the Remix, Bridge and DXVK Readme?
i sadly cant get the RTX stuff to work.
All i get is a pixely colorfull mess when i load into a Level. stuff far away from me looks normal. but everything around the charakter model is a mushy trippy pixel mess.
or is it because of my AMD RX 7900XTX? it should work with an amd card as well right?
It took some time figure out how this worked, but after reading some Nvidia documentation I got it to work.
The twist is that I got it to work on an AMD card (RX 6800 XT)
This ofc means u dont actually need the "obvious" requirement of an RTX card.
The downside is performance. I got it to run at a "playable" framerate of 30 fps stable at 800x600 using NIS 0.590 resolution scaling. At 640x480 its *possible* to get 60 fps if u go down to 0.5 resolution scaling and basically turn everything off.
TLDR: Dont even try try running it on an AMD GPU it will not be a good experience.
so you DO need the "obvious" requirement of an RTX card :D
RTX.Remix.Downloader gives an error on step 7.

What exactly do I need to download manually so as not to use broken downloaders?
Autodownloader is broken at the moment. You need to install Remix, Bridge and DXVK manually and separately from Github. Sorry about that.
I downloaded all this, but I don’t understand how it should be in the game folder. What goes where?
It's sais where in the readme files of those zipfiles you downloaded from Github. Obviously Remix goes in MP main folder, DXVK I think goes in trex folder, and Bridge goes in main MP folder too. U have to doublecheck readmes. Also, Bridge and DXVK files should overwrite Remix files. Always install Remix first.
I've got the same issue, no idea how to fix it
Thinking this is my problem - I've tried running the downloader a bunch of times and it doesn't create a folder, and when I tried downloading the zip from Github.com it didn't help either, but maybe I'm getting the wrong zip file or something?
