You are sent to war-torn Africa to assassinate The Jackal, a mysterious arms dealer who has rekindled conflict between local warlords, jeopardizing thousands of lives. This game was alright, but it just got a bit too repetitive. The AI could have used a bit of work also.
After seeing this crazy mapping vid, I now know what game I wana buy >3> after I get my self a new pc :D
yep thats f******* crap that the game isnt modable.
i hope someone will realease a modding SDK or something to import or export models/sounds/textures etc.
the editor of FarCry 1 was much better but is not as easy as the dunia engine sandbox editor.
but i like the dynamic of this engine
(sry for my bad english skills)
guys, there are A LOT of skilled people working on the tools needed to extract and re pack the files, and understanding the files that are packed.
Dong give this game up yet.
I bet this game will soon be fully moddable (or atleast we will be able to change the sounds and textures).
just wanna say i dont like this game! i know i will get karma killed for this, imo the game is amazing, the AI is dumb and the reason i didnt play past a couple of missions.
They really need to make a mod where you can put animals in your made maps, that would be so much better and the need to make Far Cry 2 moddable
So uhm... Still no SDK? Really, I've finished the game twice, mostly completed it countless times, etc. etc. Wtf is Ubisoft thinking? This game is going to die if they don't wise up.
Really, I came here in the hopes it was modifiable by now. After playing the singleplayer for some hours I have quite a few ideas that would improve the game in my opinion. No big changes either.
Hmm, really? Didn't play Far Cry 2, but I'm disappointed that AC1 & AC2 don't/won't have SDKs, either. (I.e. they won't be easily moddable.)
Does Ubisoft give them at all?
**** off
