nice engine but the new x10 version is way nicer just pricey.
I tried this but there is a problem. It renders items in front of you, not items you can see. BTW, if you have AI problems, make your own script.

Not exactly. There is a free test version, but it does not allow to build stand-alone game applications at all, neither commercial nor non-commercial.
This engine is easy to use, just download some of the free models packs that are community made and you'll be able to make a decent game in no time :) but dont expect to make the next half-life2 with it ;)

This engine may be good for somebody who has absolutely no experience in any area of game development. Honestly, just make a Half Life 2 mod if you own the game. It will turn out a lot nicer.
or just remap the levels of half-life 2 and it already looks better :P
This game engine is actually really great. As it stands, it sucks really bad. But if you go into the source, do a little bit of reprogramming and editing, you can make a great engine. I have modded FPSC X9 (version 1) to have actual good AI, and my animators made a hit animation , so when u get hit you flinch and twitch.
