Do you know this guy? Well you should, as MISERY 2 wasn't even made if it wasn't for him. As other members in our team he devoted hundreds (if not thousands!) of free hours to the making of MISERY 2. He got married during development and now he has a son. Today, he is celebrating his 30th Birthday! Give it up for MDT master modder, Marcin aka trojanuch!
Congratulations mate! A big thank you for your efforts. I hope you're satisfied with everything you have achieved so far, both in and out of game development.

People can say whatever they want about Trojaunch's opinions on developing the mod, but the effort he has put in the project can not be overlooked.

What a delight to read this. It sums up so much about the whole modder/community relation.
It can be quite demoralizing to spend all of this time on a mod and share it with the public, only to see it bashed by many who does not like the changes made. If more people had your mentality fewer modders would leave the modding scene
But most people are stupid and think the modders are there to deliver something for THEM individually. They think that they are the kings and the modders their slaves.
That is not true; as a very widespread saying goes: The developers are the the easter bunny and the modders simply paint his eggs. And in what color is completely up to the MODDER himself. In Misery this color is rusty-red-brownish for example.
As soon as money comes in, all of what I said will also be untrue however...here goes the saying, that the paying customer is the king and the developer have to react to their suggestions, as the developers depend on the money these customers bring.
The keyword is: Constructive criticism.
No worries ! we all have that respect to all of you guys ! :D

Misery is an effect of 2-year+ lasting creative surge which I have never experienced before. The unique atmosphere within the team and the mutually-propelled motivation to go futher and create even more stuff is something I will always look back at as perfect working envirnoment one should always strive to be a part of.
So - thanks again for making this dream a reality and opening my eyes guys. It's been a real honour to work with you!
