All in all: That's all, folks! It was a pleasure for me to make one last return to the best game ever made:
Deus Ex.
That said... who knows what lurks behind the corner?

So the custom Hud Icons for the weapons stayed after uninstalling and deleting a bunch of other things. I mostly ignored it for a while but now I want the old icons back. Which file are these stored in?
The hi-res UI icons are located in \Deus Ex\Textures\DeusExUI
Is it normal that the main menu and inventory takes several seconds to load?
On my end, it seems to have something to do with the DX11 renderer (no such lag under DX10, even though even under DX11 I don't get any noticeable inventory lag), could be something related to the settings - texture cache perhaps
There is some way to change the pistol model to the old one?
Thank you for making this very cool looking mod. I was looking forward to starting it for a while now. I got around to it yesterday, but i'm overwhelmed with all the options. Where best to start? Just a regular new game, or "Training DLC" first? What's the chronology?
Thank you.
Thanks! My current recommendation is to play through the main mod first and then play the DLCs.
Gameplay-wise the DLCs are shorter but also - dare I say - more professional (reusing assets from the original mod better), so it might feel like taking a step back if you play the main mod only after the DLCs.
I appreciate you getting back to me so fast.
I'll start the main game then. :)
Also much kudos for having modded DX so recently. It was definitely the most influental game for me, both professionally and personally. (I used to do some modding back then, too). So keepers of the flame are appreciated.
Is there a way to disable the HDTP model for Mad Ingram in the DLCs?
I am not a big fan of HDTP since it results in inconsistency.
Not entirely sure due to not having edited DX in a long time, but I think the easiest solution would be to remove the parts referring to the player skin/model stuff in the code for fgrhk17.Ingram17Player (the player class used by the DLCs)
