In 2049, unsavory conditions are rampant throughout the world. As soon as it becomes clear that a terrorist attack in Shenzhen, China, was carried out by perpetrators with ties to international groups and that Hong Kong may be their next target - the United Nations Anti-Terrorist Coalition (UNATCO) dispatches their first nano-augmented agent, Mad Ingram, into the city to prevent the situation from escalating any further.

DXN - Deus Ex: Nihilum is a First Person Shooter mod set in an alternate Deus Ex continuity. It features made-from-scratch original content while also extensively featuring material from the UNATCO Born mod (used with permission from fender2k1, UB's project leader) and Deus Ex: Revision (2011 build - used in accordance with the mod's license).

Any ideas as to why I'm not hearing any music? The directory for music is there along with all the files, but the game is totally silent on that front. When I check the Data Directories thingie, it only shows Maps, Sounds, System and Textures. The .ini file points to the correct path.

Hmm, does fgrhk.ini have the following line in the [Core.System] section:

OggPath=..\fgrhk\Music\

If the [Core.System] section has two instances of OggPath in it, you gotta remove the other one so that \fgrhk\Music will be the only one left.

After that, double-check that you have DXOGG.dll under " \DeusEx\System " and DXOGG.u under " \Deus Ex\fgrhk\System ".

The path is correct and the dll files are there.

In any case, I was able to get the music by running the executable as an admin, so that at least gets around the issue for now!

Alrighty!

... still, it's always something new and tricky with Deus Ex! My next suggestion would have been to make sure that the OGG files hadn't been in use by some other program (f.ex. Media Player Classic) because the OGG files won't play at all in-game if that's the case.

Also one more thing adding to my previous comment im at the first level where you need to find evidence against some terrorist activity etc. And im at the area where there are bots and i cannot access this one building because of an "invisible wall" bug and i think its keeping me from playing the story

----->watch?v=yuXBULqLunk

Do you need to get to that building because ive checked everywhere else..

Help, cannot pick up the bodies in this mod unless you loot them first? Is there any way to fix this?

Is it fine if I install Biomod+Shifter (or Shifter only) after Nihilum is installed?
If it's compactible, where to put the 'Biomod' files so that I have it on both DX and Nihilum?

Well, the best way is to install Biomod (and/or Shifter) first, and DXN after that. It is possible to install them after DXN, but then you have to make manual changes in the DXN .ini files.
