This might not be technically possible but... Quake 2 Remaster (as the base platform) + Quake 2 XP (enhanced graphics on top) would be perfect!

The Remaster has some nice gameplay enhancements, but after some comparisons tonight, I've decided that I still prefer your excellent mod. I'm still using 1.26.9 update 1 as it's fantastic and smooth on my pc, but might try a fresh install of your upcoming release to compare the differences and see if my pc can still handle it. Thanks for sharing your awesome work.

I like the gameplay of the Remaster, but agree that the graphics of Quake XP are far superior to any version I've played. Merging the two would be perfection in my opinion, but I look forward to trying the next version of Quake 2 XP.

Thanks for posting about this, I wasn't aware of the Remaster. Fantastic that it's available for people that had previously bought the original on GOG/Steam. Just downloading and look forward to checking this out.

Misery is my favourite mod and I'm grateful for you sharing your hard work. In the autumn / winter I plan to replay misery from the beginning and look forward to using your overhaul. Keep pushing, your work is appreciated. Best wishes

Is this mod dead, if not when will it be ready for download?

Sounds very interesting, when I get some spare time I will try this. I get quite a lot of stuttering playing Misery. Jasper's optimisation tips definitely help but I have a very old rig so performance still limited for me. For me, this sounds like it's worth trying. Thanks for sharing.

Please create an iron sight function (right click to aim down weapon sight)

This is an awesome mod. It allows you to play the classic game on a modern pc, and it still looks great after 20 years (thanks to this mod)

I had the same issue after editing input file to change hold for ironsight. Didn't realise you had to set to read only afterwards. Thanks, all working perfectly now

Thanks for doing this. I hated bad ammo and in my opinion it served no purpose but to annoy.

I believe zoom is affected by the chosen FOV. I think RTTN was configured for FOV 75 but I've previously used the following with lower fov settings but not tested on v13. 8... Moddb.com

Wow, how hasn't anyone thought of this before. Totally agree - bullet casings would be everywhere in the zone / almost unlimited supply for stalkers. Not tried this addon yet but will do when I reinstall the mod. Great idea!
