Original upload by ColonelRH. I (Seda145) updated it to be compatible with RTTN 13.8.2+. Now you can sell damaged gear to traders. Read the changes in the description. Update 12 jan 2023: - Fixed Duty "buy_item_condition_factor", which is now value "0.20" to match freedom.

It's not cheating because it doesn't change the economy , . It can be removed by deleting the traders files in your gamedata ( configs/misc/trade )!
*In case the mod uses the gamedata as A base directory for its files dont delet anything . Just go through all files in trade folder and open them using the notepad and change all the item trade condition to 60+ ( 60 , 70 , 80 ) or just 60/50 for all of them

Yes ! Weapons prices will scale the condition % ! Prices for different conditions will not be the same

Hey, I have a little problem with this one addon. When I try to change some values of traders buying condition in files, the game crushes every time I try to trade with traders. For example I have change freedom trader buying condition from 0.20 to 0.15, and when I try to buy something the game just poof

Are you sure that you used the same file that comes from this addon ? Or can you just post the crash log ?
I swear, I downloaded this addon and I put it into game folder.
btw don't be mad at me cuz I don't know where I can find crash log haha
Haha nah ! Don't worry , it's inside the appdata folder (inside the game folder) or just make a screenshot when it crashes to see the reason behind it :)

This should be fixed in RTTN 13.8 , it was a bug in a script that calculates daily price changes/discounts on traders
Hey, this crashes some traders indeed. Just visited owl and upon opening tradi nscreen, it crashes. Any idea on how to fix it? Sidorovich o nthe other hand, doesnt crash
Remove owl profile from the trade folder atm

You have done everything just fine
BUT
You messed up in duty trader's config and set it to 70% instead of 7%
if anyone interested in fixing this edit line in file "trade_duty.ltx"
"buy_item_condition_factor = 0.7"
to whatever number you want (it supposed to be 0.07 according to description)
I'd actually change duty to 20%, just like freedom and Sid to 7% or even 1% because he's known for buying anything but for very little price
