Please give the video some time to process. It is HD although it won't appear that way here in ModDB.
Be sure to read the Stash info display also.
Thanks for all the votes!

Psynamo, thank you for the notion about this music. It actually generated the reason why this video teaser HAD to be done...

A pleasure doing business!
I take no credit for the music of course, yet I'm more then happy to share out the inspiration I find within the music.
I'm just happy I could share something I thought was inspiring!

Call of Prypiat Vanilla may be the best fps/survival game ever. But with MISERY 2.0 there's no "may be".

Looks like you guys "dragged" the video a bit to let the music finish. Which is okay, because it's fantastic. The feature sounds great, just what the game needs for a more interesting and less repetitive gameplay.

Cool idea but I dislike how the trailer seems to focus on the terribad terrain. Not everything should be brown, that's not right at all.

What's right is the fact that we've now revealed that we have created new stashes for you to search for.
Who cares about the rest of the packaging

Curious, you say stashes will add replayability so does that mean that they'll be completely randomized(within a certain limit) with different locations and different items each playthrough, because that'd be great!

I always hated how during the course of multiple playthroughs I'd have to "pretend" I didn't know where all the loot was at and what was inside it.

@devs on the note of stashes and vanilla, will you remove the sunrise suit drop from the guy beneath the burnt farmstead?

it was a really easy way of getting a upgraded suit from the start worth 15000Ru atleast.

if you would have bought it yourself, i find these type of stashes horrid and they should be removed from the game, it makes it to easy to just find stuff that you already know are there.

I really do hope you do this.

Majority of NPCs carry small rucksacks, so it makes a lot of sense that they are storing the basic and less valuable gear at some secret spot.

These backpacks, with all their personal belongings, are only being transported from A to B, whenever the NPC wants to travel far.

This is a principle heavily inspired by real life elite military units that are stationed in the field,
although these mostly leave a sentry at their backpack storages.
Each personal stash belongs to an ingame NPC and has a background story.

All have a mix of basic supplies with some items are far more common and expected than others.
I.e. a sleeping bag is very likely while a joint is more of a personal item with less chance of being featured.

- Big chance of basic water and other fluids
- Reasonable chance of camping equipment like sleeping bag, tarpaulin, etc.
- Medium chance of various drugs and medicine
- Small chance of personal items like journals and pictures
- Very little chance of valuables like batteries, grenades and stims

Here's to give you an idea of the diversity of stash contents:
