Nah, he just loves great pieces of military art called weapons =)
By the way, FN Hi-Power Mk. III uses some plastic materials and unique silencer. Just a tip.

Oh, yes. THIS IS GORGEOUS!

I saw the old "spagetti" designs you posted up and to be honest they didn't look the bad, the only issue would be that it would be near impossible for them to fire looking like that, or at the very least be susceptible to jamming!

These new designs look really good, nice work as always!

OK, N.Aroe

With the textures which you have modified. I can see that you have added your own things is, how will those fit the actual 3d models?

Great job so far! Looks like a great balance between pristine weapons and your old I Work Alone textures. I disliked I Work Alone's weapon textures because the weapons that had corrosion typically had enough to where it looked like they had each survived a melee in Sparta or something. Oh, I personally hope that you go back to the plastic/composite look on the AKS-74, or ask to use Pollux's wood texture, as the texture you used looks kind of low-quality regarding the wood. Other than that, I hope you either use metal mags for all 5.45mm AKs or change them to bakelite/plastic mags, as having one use metal and the other use plastic looks very strange.

Looks lovely, all but the G36 that is.
The selector is still inverted vertically (not sure if you can fix that) and both the grip and the magwell should be texture less, I mean no rough looking grip (smooth, very similar to the trigger group seen on the navy Mp5) and no vertical lines running along the magwell (just smooth, like vanilla textures but looking awesome and battle-worn like yours :D).
Despite this minor details, looking great, really can't wait for release, keep it coming!.

The textures on the left are clearly from CoP's version of Complete-mod, which already changes the textures quite a bit. This is most notable on the AKS74U (blue tape on the now brown mag)and HiPower (wooden furniture instead of the modern plastic, making it HP-DA).

All in all I like the new looks better though. I just hope that the pre-drawn hi-lights won't look too out of place in game though.

The '74U needs to have a '74 style magazine. Please do not use the steel AK47/AKM mags. Actually, both mags in this picture are wrong, the one on the left is some crazy mismatch plum-steel hybrid.

Here, they should look like this: Cdn1.iofferphoto.com

I was screwing around with DDSView and Paint.NET and I mashed together a crappy texture with bakelite mags you can use. It's on my profile if you want it.

Not to be an ***, but some weapons still look too new and shinny, like the AEK-973 and the M14. I think for the sake of feeling, all weapons must be brought to the used/scratched look that fits Misery so good.

@ N.Aaroe
Is it possible to make a G36k version in 2.0 sold by nimble as the "special" G36 ?

Something like that

E-reading.org.ua

on the picatinny rail it should be possible to
mount scopes and dot sights or even the eotech holosight...

PS:Thats the first time i noticd after is saw your texturepic)that GSC use the SL8 as a G36 (because the g36 looks a bit different right behind the stock..

And that you fixed the fire mode thanks :) it disturbed me every time i use this rifle:D

Description

This image displays the textural redesign of weapons that is being done for MISERY along with other mod or vanilla designs for your comparison.

"I Work Alone" contains some very corroted weapon textures and many people don't like that. Saying that they look like bloodspattered spaghetti.

I took that criticism and desided for a redesign of most weapons in MISERY.

Corrotion and worn weapon surfaces are indisputable looks in MISERY but they are less colourful and more respectfully designed now.

If you absolutely hate worn weapon looks and want your weapon to look shiny new you can actually still have that! You just need the finances to buy one of the modern and unique weapons that were included also. The modern weapons also come with a more reliable personality in terms of jamming.

What's on show here is still work in progress! I might be adding duct taped magazines, metal engravings and things alike..
