An expansion/overhaul mod of epic proportions, with entirely rebalanced gameplay, expanded factions, new gametypes, graphical overhauls, and five new factions; stealth-based Confederate Revolutionaries, tower defense-inspired Atomic Kingdom of China, economy-focused Mediterranean Syndicate, DotA-esque Order of the Talon and spammy Electrical Protectorate.
A wonderful piece of Confederate victory music by Chris Feres.
That beat... isn't that a sample beat from FLStudio? (BackAgain if i'm right)
Yep. It's been put through the slicer and changed up a bit, but it's still a preset.
Ahh ok, i use sometimes some presets too (especially the drum loops), so it's not a shame.
Yeah, I find that drums are the hardest to do, especially when you don't own a drum set that you can easily record... Sometimes you gotta fall back on the free stuff - after all, that's what it's there for.
Agreed ;)
for some reason, this reminds me of the song "Still Alive" From portal.
seconded
Hmmm... This could be the victory music?
It IS, it IS! MHAHAHA!
Forgot to read the description xD
Sounds Confederate-like. Mix of Revoluntionary War movie soundtrack and techno-electric
Yes Still alive I got that vibe as well.
Although I thought the Confederates should get a slightly less futuristic sound to them, since their using old tech and stuff.
This is probably my favorite song in the track. Easily good enough to be in RA3, and it fits the Confederates perfectly.
Great job on it.
good menu music for when youve just won as the confederates
You guys (dev. team) consider doing something with the melody of "its a gift to be simple" in it? it might work really well for the confederates.
LOL, it would be funny if they went HEAVY OVERMETALDUBSTOMPDRIVE mode on that song and made it a epic battle theme! XD
omg you guys are gods "."
this is the best!
but do i see cake at the end of this test;)
Is there still any chance of this getting in-game, or will I have to improvise and play it out of game whenever I win?
EDIT: You know a piece of music is good when you want to listen to it again after hearing it. :)
You will be in for a big surprise when the first release comes out :D
I look forward to it.
You know, I've meant to say this for a long time, but figured no one would see it. But Galgus showed otherwise.
Anyways, what's really, really great about this song is that it's not so much "We beat them, good for us!" like other victory songs, it's "Holy crap, we just took on the world's largest military and survived!" Maybe I can't put it in words, but it fits the Confederates so well as scrappy underdogs.
I think thats kind of why it sounds so heroic: its played after an underdog faction fighting for what they believe in beats a stronger faction.
when I first heard this, all I could think of was confederate dance dance revolution
