An expansion/overhaul mod of epic proportions, with entirely rebalanced gameplay, expanded factions, new gametypes, graphical overhauls, and five new factions; stealth-based Confederate Revolutionaries, tower defense-inspired Atomic Kingdom of China, economy-focused Mediterranean Syndicate, DotA-esque Order of the Talon and spammy Electrical Protectorate.
Chinese battle music by Chris Feres!
Are you guys going to make more soundtracks? You need a lot for all those factions!, I need to compose like 40 songs (!) for 2 factions! (Red Alert 3 Ultimate)
Same as you said
Nice soundtrack btw
Thank you :D
We haven't released all of our music yet, and we've already completed work on the music for the first release of the mod. Lately we've had our attention on other sound-related work, which should appear shortly.
40 songs for 2 factions?
...I have the official soundtrack, and in vanilla RA3 there are THREE (yes, three) themes for each faction. Almost all of the music in the game is level-dependent, not faction-dependent.
RA3U is different, it (for now) has only just factions for skirmish and online. So it isn't that weird that i just make a lot of soundtracks. The reason why it is so many is also because I made some new Menu tracks.
Ah... I see. That IS a lot of menu tracks. But wow, you're damn good at what you do.
Me or Chris Feres?
I was referring to you (Tom) at the time, but I do think you're both awesome.
The soundtrack only has 3 per faction, but there's an additional 3 for each that wasn't in the released soundtrack, and then Uprising added yet another 3 per faction. Then you also have their superweapon music (one per faction), and all that is just considering music for in battle.
I would play with the voices used. A woodwind (I'm guessing a clarinet) doesn't suit China
Saxophone. Can't really find a better instrument to use really...
I agree.
It sounds a little bit like music from soviet mission in NY :P
Hmmm, okay, I'll keep that in mind. I'll try and find something to replace it with in an updated version. Maybe this could be just normal background music, and I'll make up some new stuff for the battles.
love the music, i'm so gonna enjoy using the chinese, not just cool nuke units but AWESOME music.
Nice
This came with our comp
Backbeat and saxaphone brings to mind Soviet NY mission, but still pretty good.
I love that track like nothing else... "Big Apple" I think it's called.
good exploring music for exploring in china, but not as battle music for the chinese themselves
Chinese battle music by Chris Feres! this ROKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Feels like the music is moving around in a circle in my headphones.
hmmm as accout name implies.
i dont think this is particularly oriental. It has the right theme to it, but the mix of instruments just doesnt feel right.
I mean this in a concrustive manner ofcourse, ive just downloaded the newest beta and am rooting for you ;D
Perfect, but it sounds a lot more like Japanese electronica near the middle-to-end of the song
I have a strange feeling with this track. It seems me curious, calm, almost stealth.
Reminds me of the PS1 game "reloaded".
very much like it.
If Paradox sold merchandise, I would buy it! :D
