Please take a good look at our Blog as that's were most updates will be placed!
Ninja: Rekishi (Ninja:History) will be a historically correct Ninja simulation/stealth game. There will be NO flying grappling hooks or invisibility techniques. The game will come down to pure skill such as misdirection, stealth and technique. The game itself will be based around the player taking control of a Ninja/Shinobi from the feudal period in Japan. As a Ninja the player will have missions to accomplish as given to him by his ruling Daimyo and clan leader.
A lot of historical ninja tools will be available such as: Tanto, Testu-bishi, Ninja-to, Bo, Fukiya and Metsubishi. Just to name a few. For those who have no idea of the few tools I just named. It means you will be able to use everything from Blinding powders, Ninja swords and knives to blowpipes and grappling hooks. All in all the game will be very well rounded when it comes to the tools and weapons available. Though the tools themselves will be historically correct and wont have any "special" abilities and so on.
At the moment the Single player demo is underway, which will let players go through the training stage. Later we plan to release Single Player Story, Co-Op Story and Multiplayer Vs Modes.

31/Oct - Things have however been a little on the slow side as I have recently been moving from New Zealand to Australia. Now that I've secured new work and should hopefully have living sorted we'll be fully operational again.

Nice new banner. This Aussie is watching (has been watching since before I made my account) with keen interest...as is his friend who is a nut for Japanese.
Hellz no, you'll see in the outline that its a stealth based ninja game though more realistic then the others you've seen out there.
So is this going to be like counter strike with ninjas or what?
Never heard of this mod before - what's somehow strange - but I like it at first sight. Tracked.
Cheers man! we should have some juicy new screens and preview animations up for you all soon.
I'm glad to hear, looking forward to the new media ;)
i read the update now, so if you maybe win will this mod be published as a game then? i dont really get it, but i bet it would be sweet to win :D
Well, we plan to enter the competition with a 2-3 stage demo in I think August next year for the final stage of the competition. The winner gets a licence to use Unreal Engine to publish a game, so yeah I guess id try get it on shelves if possible.
But in saying that its a big task and there are some GREAT teams out there. For now we'll just keep working away at this for ourselves and see how we do. (^__^)
Well good luck with that. Is it on Moddb?
No, I haven't placed it on Moddbyet, I am working on the main avatar now. And am building the environments via(Maya). I have a ways to go, but I think I will try to add it this month. I think yours is great, please keep up the good work, I am certainly a fan...
