The Mods back under way and the team is growing. There will be more to see shortly, were sorry for the downtime!
Ninja: Rekishi will be a historically correct Ninja simulation/stealth game. There will be NO flying grappling hooks or invisibility techniques. The game will come down to pure skill such as misdirection, stealth and technique. The game itself will be based around the player taking control of a Ninja/Shinobi from the feudal period in Japan. As a Ninja the player will have missions to accomplish as given to him by his ruling Daimyo and clan leader.
A lot of historical ninja tools will be available such as: Tanto, Testu-bishi, Ninja-to, Bo, Fukiya and Metsubishi. Just to name a few. For those who have no idea of the few tools I just named. It means you will be able to use everything from Blinding powders, Ninja swords and knives to blowpipes and grappling hooks. All in all the game will be very well rounded when it comes to the tools and weapons available. Though the tools themselves will be historically correct and wont have any "special" abilities and so on.
At the moment the Single player demo is underway, which will let players go through the training stage. Later we plan to release Single Player Story, Co-Op Story and Multiplayer Vs Modes.

We'll no public updates as of late.. But dont worry things are getting done (^__^) We should have a new update coming shortly!
looks great ur models seem to have weight, so good job
Thank you, once we get further along we should bring out a quick video of in game basic movements. Hopefully it's not going to be too far away.
I think quite a few people dont realise the reason we have this page. We're basicly putting up any steps we make in this game to show the community. Similar to our blog but abit more basic. So people dont need to ask why models look basic and why screen shots are small etc. What we show we show (^__^) As the game progresses and higher quality models are placed in map then we will post nicer shots etc.
We do appreciate peoples interest, but please realise we are showing a step by step MOD in the making. Our methods may be different then others, but this is the path we've decided to take.
Thanks for reading!
i'm looking forward to this mod. and i would be happy if there are high-poly models and stuff, but way more important is the actual gameplay, which doesn't depend on graphics but the background. so concentrate on the ai, the gameplay and stuff, and then care about graphics. :)
very nice updates since my last visit.. very promising mod and i wish u good luck for the MSUC :D.
Do u know HD lol? joking.. cuz all pics u post are very small and i dont like that .. i prefer when i can see little details of pics :)
Hehe fair enough, most of em are just work in progress pictures at the moment. A lot of the current model will be changed out etc. Done worry though, once we have more to show we'll make them High Def (^__^)
A friend of mine said our buildings looked pretty basic aka shitty. The work you seen in those screen captures are place holders until the real models are complete. Obviously they don't have textures or normal maps on them either. But for those of you that didn't know that they are place holders, they will be getting replaced as time and work goes on.. (^__^)
cool animations. Really looking cool.
Hey, thanks man! Things are coming along well. Those animations are still WIP though and may be changed but we'll get him moving about in game then look at changing them. Thanks again for showing your interest!
