Missing Information aims to recreate Valve's original Half-Life 2 storyline found in Raising the Bar.
A beautiful work of art indeed. Keep up the great work.
I'm still working on my realistic MP7 20mm and MP7 GP-30 smg1 skins with XSI for the retail HL2 so yea hopefully ill be able to share those with everyone when im done.

Sexy, awesome model and texture :D
Looks nice. Doesn't look very different than HL2's version though.
They're the same gun, that's why. HL2's SMG is an MP7.
Absolutely love it. no complaints
Will we be able to use this as a MP7 skin on HL2 and it's episodes as well? Because this looks absolutely beautiful.
If any custom weapons they make look half this good, I'll still be happy.
it's a pretty gun, but **** renders. Show us what it looks like in game.
The model isn't going to look much different in Source after phong, env maps, etc are applied.
The problem is HLMV sucks chode and is horrible for show casing models, so I use Marmoset.
That is just awesome.
Hey Mug, you didn't rip this from Crysis 4 right?/joke But dude it's amazing! :D
Shhh, they'll never know.
Alright I'll be quiet!
I love weapon from H&K
Love that gun and picture's name "my_favorite_horses.png" :D
good model a few more scratches round heavy used areas would not go a miss! :)
"A beautiful work of art indeed" but it fits no where in a leak based mod :)
Yeah because the leak totally doesn't have an MP7.
That doesn't even make sense.
Like we said before, we are not doing a carbon copy of the leak, we are remaking assets as we see fit. If you want to see ugly leak models, please visit one of the dozen other leak mods out there.
All hail the King of the Internet!
Oh god, you don't need to kiss his *** THAT much.
great, but i would make the magazine longer so it looks like there is really 30 bull.
Yea, it should look more like a 45 round magazine. no?
Shrug. In the end I just didn't model a 45 round mag.
Yea that's the stock 20 round mag.
20 round MP7 mag
40 round curved mag.
And the Combine manufactured version is basically the same as the 40 round mag but straight instead of curved and a bit longer to hold 45 rounds.
As I said b4 when im done with my realistic MP7s for the retail HL2 ill share them so that ppl can see what it should have looked like.
Sleek, also it doesn't look like it's able to do Valve's fancy tricks - like shooting grenades and stuff!
That's because it won't be able to do that ;)! The OICW will take care of that task instead.
And how would you combine a grenade launcher with scoping? By making GL a toggleable (switchable) weapon mode (so that you press a key and it switches to alternative fire), or making a scope bound to another key? I personally went with the first way.
I also suddenly wonder: what did you use, or what are you using for your modelling? Would 3ds be any good for stuff like this?
We're using 3ds Max 2012. For MI we have a button that toggles firing mode.
Well then I guess it would just be a skill matter for me. Though I use 2009 version (can't handle the newer ones).
This MP7 makes me want to play Killing floor.
Wow...this is a stunning model.
Can somebody help me ? I cant find my jaw.
I want to shoot something with it.
Great job! I want to see more stuff from Missing Information! =]
looks absolutely amazing, but then again, if so much attention is universally paid to detail, were probably gonna have to wait for like 3 years for episode 1 :(
It's not like the model took that long to make. Less than a week total.
I just have a life in between making models for Source mods.
You mean episode 3, right?
Will you guys possibly release it later? So we can overwrite the normal MP7 for HL2, Gmod, etc?
It has the outstanding power of oxyclean!
Render is cool but we both know, source can't achieve such an authentic metallic look with it's render, no matter ho much phong you add.
