I just downloaded Black mesa source on desura and it says that the is a MCF error or somthing, help?
I actually found an alternative! If I turn off my computer completely and turn it back on, and select desura BEFORE opening steam or anything else, and select the mod it will say, start C&C tiberium wars? I click yes and it starts.

ever started the menu of C&C3 without desura?
I have a completely home built computer made of the best computer tech on the market, roughly 2 thousand dollars.
I just download the mod on desura, because I cant find them on Modb.
I have C&C tiberium wars on steam, and Kane's wrath. (I have played tiberium twilight, and it sucks.)
Steam, that explains A LOT! desura and steam together is not really helping.

if I'm right there suppose to be a C&C3 folder in "My documents"
- make a "mods" folder there and pack out TE zip-file in there.
now that's done:
- open up steam.
- RIGHT click on C&C3 in your library there.
- go to "properties"
- the general tab. and press "set launch options..."
- only what you need to fill in there is "-ui"
- press OK, and start up C&C3 in your steam.
you will see now that it opens the menu screen.
- go to "game browser" next to play
- there 2 tabs "replays" and "mods"
if you have done everything correct above TE 1.4 will be standing there. start playing and have fun :)
