The L.U.R.K. team wants to provide the best possible experience from Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, we don't plan to skew the scope of this game, because I, like many others, fell in love with the game because of the story, the realistic gameplay, and the atmosphere. I plan to preserve and improve on that concept to the best of my abilities, and our team has vowed to do so as well. Which is why we took it upon ourselves to provide that experience. We want to fulfill a niche that's otherwise unfulfilled in the modding community. We want to bring as many features to Stalker without damaging or changing the original theme of the game. While improving upon that concept with features that were dropped off the development cycle from GSC, such as stealth AI, and a strong foundation for balance, as well as dynamic A-Life, and an unprecedented visual presentation that no other Stalker Overhaul can touch.

I really enjoy the improvements made so far to the user interface, even though they're a work in progress.

Most of the updates seem to have to do with audio, lighting, and gun textures; would you guys mind talking about some of the other features you're working on besides those?

Like any of the work done with ballistics/recoil, heads up display, economy, artifacts, armor...etc

Incredible. Brilliant work. I love LURK 1.1, it is probably my favorite play through of Stalker. Keep it up. Quick question, is it me or is there less recoil? Or are you yet to edit such features?

Even though a lot of the mechanisms are similair, perhaps there could be a bit more focus on sound variation, and a little less snooping around on fpsbanana.com for sources.

But that's just my opinion.


Perhaps an idea to lower the weapon and make the free hand perform a quick maneuver when attaching stuff to the currently selected weapon.

Don't like the vintorez reloading animation. Too sharp hand movings. The other is great. How can I see, there are really too much of work to have mod completed. I hope, we will see this mod in 2013. :)

Awesome work, but I think it is better to modify AN-94, as the shell extractor in it is on the wrong side. It should be right-sided as in AK series.

I like the lighting, detailed textures and sounds.

Are the outdoor and indoor gunfire sounds going to be the same? In this video I heard a slight echo when guns were fired. Normally there is no an echo from gunfire indoors.
