I'm willing to bet that this is going to end up being a feature of your shaders that largely gets ignored and a lot of people will disable because they don't think it fits the Stalker atmosphere.

I however, am in love with what you have done. I am in awe of your seemingly endless modding talent and applaud the work you've done :)
I can't wait for your end of the year release (you're still planning that right?)

Thanks. I am well aware that some won't like nor use this feature. I don't mind. Me I like it, and obviously there are enough others that do as well.

Actually I do not have any real modding talent. I'm a professional software developer, that's why this kind of source code work fits my personal skills. And I'm a addicted STALKER player loving to improve the gaming experience. That's all.

As for the next release, well, you might have seen that I had to reset the release date to TBD, what means that I probably won't be able to finish all the work that still needs to be done for a final version by end of this year. However, I'm still planning to release at least the announced preview.

Frankly, I think that having the occasional rainbow fits STALKER. It adds to the dreary feel, and makes the freezing cold rain that much more real.

That's awesome.

Your work is good enough that you should consider setting up a paypal account to accept donations. I bet people would give you money considering the awesome stuff you're doing.

I agree, I think it does fit, the first time you see one, it would stop me in my tracks, just to watch and admire.

A rainbow in STALKER Zone? No!
A rainbow SEEN at distance in STALKER Zone? Yes!
