Dreamball's 2.0 release will be rolling out today! First things first, unfortunately we we're unable to pull of a Steam release due to our own busy lives. Apologies for any disappointment! None the less, it doesn't stop you playing Dreamball.
In the 2.0 release it will feature a brand new world, the Lava World, featuring 4 new maps built in this unique theme. Packed with lot's of puzzles and marbles to morph into! The older maps have also been given a complete make over, not to mention new music too! I'm sure any of you will agree Dreamball's older music in the 1.2 release was awful, thankfully, we ran into some musical talent otherwise known as Brian Davis. He's produced a beautiful sound track for Dreamball with each world theme having it's own unique track! You can also download the Dreamball Official Sound Track here too.
Now it's also a pleasure to also announce the marble / camera setup has been completely redefined. We understand from a lot of feedback it needed a nudge, and it's gotten a huge one thanks to our coder. See for yourself when you play! For Level Designers, we've also setup a complete new guide for Level Creation in Dreamball aswell as a small dev kit with all of our official maps in open source VMF form. Learn more about it here. Get busy with any ideas you've got with Hammer!

Brilliant mod, although I feel some of your bump maps and specular are waaaay too strong. You've got wood looking like polished plastic.
When can we get some new maps? i don't want to keep making more maps for myself. there easy because i made them.
Very creative mod. nice work.
This is not creative! It is a port of Switchball on XBLA! I FEEL LIKE I AM TAKING CRAZY PILLS!
...Or am I missing something?
I just wanted to congratulate you (I just joined ModDB just so I could write this comment). I have wanted to write this game for years now (well, something verrry similar, my game had a real world setting where you play balls lost around a house).
I never had the time/skills/patience, all I have is part complete engines written in the original Darkbasic, some going back 8 years or more.
This is more polished that I ever could have made, well done and keep up the good work. I`ll give this a 10/10!
Are there many custom mappers for this? I'm doing a cave-map (a serie, or co-op as you call it) myself, but I haven't seen any other custom maps for this mod yet...
I love your mod's fresh concept and setting and all, but every time I start the game from steam, I get the loading screen and the music playing.
Then the game crashes to the desktop. Every single time.
Kindly check if the newest update has broken stuff (maybe, since it appears only I have this problem). I want to play this one !
I really enjoyed playing this mod. Loved the relaxing game music and the new camera system which improved the playability. Keep up the good work! :)
This mod would be awesome if it didn't crash so much.
I love mods with no weapons in them.
I just finished some levels and I would like to say some things:
-The camera update is awesome
-The game itself is awesome, as before.
