Hello Eastern Front fans,
Some days ago started the Mod of the Year 2011 event, also called MOTY 2011. It's time to cast your vote for Eastern Front :D! Thanks to you, the last year we ended at the 5th position, as we know we haven't released any big update, there's no chance we can get the first place, we don't deserve it... but let's achieve at least an honorific mention :D!
Don't forget to support other CoH projects, such like Modern Combat, ZombieMod, Pacific Thunder, The Great War, Afrika Korps, Back to Basics, Battle of the Bulge, Blitzkrieg, Normandy 44, Imperial Reign and NHCMod or any other project you like(e.g. Forgotten Hope 2), remember that you can vote once for any mod you want, it is not limited to one mod only.
We also apologize for the lack of news about Ostheer, but all the involved staff has been busy with their real life assignments, the balance team has not stopped their duties, and we are striving to finish all the pending stuff to release the patch as soon as possible. As the soviet balance is near to be finished, not talking about perfect balance... that's an utopy, but soviets are going to be as balanced as they can be on 1.6, so this is the last big patch for soviets and you should expect some nice surprises.
As the soviet arsenal and CoH factions' reward units are pretty much settled up(not talking about soviet reward units here), there's not many new units being included. But here are some pics of old friends wanting to say something:
