Unfortunately no, we are still running our closed beta on Ostheer.
This is mostly just for compatibility with the new CoH patch (2.700 / "New Steam Version")
May I ask how is the Closed Beta doing? What do you guys have left to do before a full release?

I have enjoyed playing EF for some time now but after installing the latest patch ( 1.80) I use the launcher but it says unable to locate the COH directory.
Can you help please?

Register your CoH on Steam. To do this you need to enter your CD key and install via Steam. This is assuming you have bought the game. Once installed via Steam it is automatically updated to the latest patch.

Read the news, it says the retail version is no longer supported so the answer is no.

Hello, just got it downloaded and installed! :D But, I've noticed that not all the unit and features are in the German army, like I have seen in pictures and videos. :( Did I somehow mess up the file transfer when it was installing? Like, for example, when I played as Germans, I noticed it seemed like I was playing regular CoH. Just wondering.

is this new version sound track included?
After i installed this patch my game keeps crashing. when i want to play a game it stops right after the map is loaded. I can see my hq and then everything becomes black and im back to windows with no error. Can someone help me?
To everyone else having issues with the directory not found error, double check where do you have installed EF and remember two things:
1) It now works on the New CoH folder in steamapps path.
2) It should be installed in CoH root path, not in any self-made folder.
If there is any doubt about the process or if you cannot fix your issue, feel free to post it in our forums, there will be able to give it a proper following.

Now, for the guys asking about the compatibility of EF with the pirated version, unless you are using a pirate version of the new build available on Steam, you won't be able to play EF.
We do not support pirate versions of CoH, but it is not that there is something we can do about it either. If you have the chance you can just buy it cheap on Steam or in other places.

this 1.80 patch is it still working with the retail version (2.602) cause i am not play online cause of my slow internet connection (lack of bandwidth to do so)

With Steam you can also play offline. But it is not about playing offline, it is about this version is only compatible with 2.700 and the next releases will follow the same rule as well.
From now on EF won't be compatible with Retail, unless you download an old version, however, when Ostheer comes you won't be allowed to play with it without having CoH v2.700 which can only be got from Steam.

Hey, one problem: when i start at soviet, there are 4 squares for abilities(from were you call airplane sstrikes, artillery, special units...) and when i buy with command points a unit, i can't call it!!! Help, please!

Hi. I like EF very much, but since the relik has moved to Steamsuxworks, me and my friend have encautered difficulties with playing it: we're having synchronisation error in every game.
It seems to appear only in EF - in normal CoH we got no crashes (except Alsace Mosele map, which sux b***z, as we all know).
The sync error appears randomly, but more often, when someone is calling off-map reinforcments.
Did anyone encouter similar problem ? How to solve it ?

i have a problem with EF. when i go to the 'reward' page almost every vehicle was written in russian. So i erased Russian folder which is in locale folder(EF) but it didn't work. Do you have any ideas?
