Overview:
You take on the role of Peter Kent: gallant gamer, put-upon party-goer, ersatz errand boy, suburban swashbuckler.
Navigate a middle-class morass of whiny girlfriends, surly cops, slippery coworkers, surly bartenders, surly bosses, and more.
Your mission: procure an ever-growing list of supplies to ensure an appropriately inappropriate weekend of drinking, revelry, and what have you.

* All new, entirely original script (over 12,000 words)
* 18 new characters, 6 new levels, new sounds, models, textures and more, plus clever re-use of existing Deus Ex stuff (or "assets")

I share Gordon's problem. This mod crashes for me on the start. It says I lack a certain component; any idea what I need?
Great mod, One of the most polished ive played for any game ever!
Wish I could say the same for some of the others!
I Need some Help : I can't Find Two of the makina robots AND the drugs for the girls
The only one I Found is
- The One That Dennis Selling
- The One At Honest Hank Gaming Shop
And
- The One At Underworld Tavern
BUT WHERE ARE THE OTHER TWO????????????????????
I Found the pot (Under gil's couch) and the The Robot Figurine During the final level (Getting Ferris' liquor) in my office in a cardboard box
But there stille one toy that I haven't found yet
Its a brilliant mod!!! Shame its short! But still a lot to do!!
I think if i was Peter i would tell the lot of them to bugger off!!!

Despite the fact that it's fairly short, I had a huge amount of fun with this mod. Great writing and unique setting. High quality stuff all around and definitely worth your time.
I'd love to see more stuff like this!
Burden of 80 Proof uses lots of stuff from the original Deus Ex but has some new graphics and sounds as well. The new things fit well into the game. The story is original and very good. I enjoyed playing as a "normal person" doing everyday things instead of a hero. I also liked the music in the mod. The jokes were very funny, too.
However, the mod was too short and some voice acting which fits the game would be nice.
All in all, Burden of 80 Proof provides good variety in gameplay and is worth trying if you like Deus Ex.
