A GLOBAL CRISIS - Game Manual

A new war rages between Israel and Syria, while the American and Chinese forces continue to fight against the GLA terrorists, turning the local Mid-East crisis into A GLOBAL CRISIS.
Welcome to C&C Generals Zero Hour : "A GLOBAL CRISIS".
This mod brings Israel and Syria (from the popular MidEast Crisis total conversion mod made by Isotx, with their permission) with their full unique armies - into C&C Generals: Zero Hour expansion pack, with all of the original Zero Hour factions, campaigns and Generals challenge mission, BUT with some great new changes like realistic skins and models and some new units.
Available Factions:
Israel:
To counter their smaller numbers, Israel prefers high quality units over quantity, but their units are very expensive.
Syria:
Syria relies on mass numbers of outdated but cheap and reliable Russian equipment and fortified positions.
USA:
- USA main faction.
- Air Force General.
- Superweapon General.
- Laser General.
GLA:
- GLA main faction.
- Toxin General.
- Demolition General.
- Stealth General.
China:
- China main faction.
- Tank General.
- Infantry General.
- Nuke General.
Boss General:
General Leang, the Chinese Boss General from the last Generals Challenge mission, is now unlocked and can be played as Human player side for Multiplayer and Skirmish games (No AI support except for the last Generals challenge mission). Some units of this General had been altered (it's a little surprise) so now there is a logical reason why she controls units from all the original factions (and even more...).
If you liked Zero Hour and you thought it just needed a new look - This is the mod for you.
If you liked Mideast Crisis total conversion mod but you still wanted to play Zero Hour - Well, you don't have to choose anymore!
A GLOBAL CRISIS - C&C Zero Hour mod made by "Abra".

Thanks to The_Hunter and ShockWave mod team, Medicdude and Whopper from Call To Arms mod, Judoka and Urban Assault mod team, Sarge and Operation: Restore-Justice team, Fritz, 12Pandas, Just-West, IDF-Godzilla and Chris, for letting me use some of their models and skins.

Welcome back Generals!
This time we have some big surprises, especially for the Israelis and for the GLA, as well as a nice addition for the Americans.
Israeli Merkava 4 - New model:

The Israeli Merkava mk.4 MBT has a new realistic model now!
The new model includes a realistic turret of the Merkava mk.4 MBT and the new TROPHY anti-missile active-defense system.
This is the best Israeli tank, but it is very expensive. Requires Armored Division special technology. (The turret was originally modeled by IDF-Godzilla, the chassis modeled by Isotx's "MidEast Crisis" mod team, re-skinned and re-modeled by me - Abra).
Israeli Merkava 2:

The old Merkava model is now used for the Merkava mk. 2 MBT as it should be.
The Merkava 2 is the most common Israeli tank. It has less fire-power than the Merkava mk. 4 (but the same fire power as the Magach 7A tank) and 25% less armor (its armor is still stronger than the Magach 7A though). The Merkava 2 does not have the Trophy system.
Although this tank doesn't require any specialization, it is still quite expensive.
(Modeled by Isotx's "MidEast Crisis" mod team).
Israeli Namer heavy APC:

The Israeli Namer APC is based on the Merkava chassis, which makes it the heaviest APC around. Although armed only with a 7.62 mm machinegun, the Namer APC can carry up to 10 passengers, who exit and assist the APC while it is attacking a target, and get back inside when the attack is over (like the Chinese Troop-Crawler ability). Starts with 4 Israeli standard infantry soldiers inside.
The Namer APC is very expensive and requires Armored Division special technology.
(Butchered by me, from the Israeli Merkava and Humvee models originally made by Isotx's "MidEast Crisis" mod team).
GLA BM-13 Katyusha Truck:

The BM-13 Katyusha truck is the famous Russian made 107 mm multiple rocket launcher, widely used by terrorist groups.
In "A Global Crisis" the Katyusha truck replaces the Rocket Buggy for the GLA Stealth General only. (Thanks to Daniel Stack from "Conquer or Die" mod for letting me use this model).
GLA BM-21 Grad Truck:

The BM-21 Grad truck is another famous Russian made multiple rocket launcher.
Equipped with 40-barrels for launching the 122 mm Grad rockets.
The Grad truck replaces the Rocket Buggy for the GLA Demolition General only.
(Modeled by MaxON and Petruxa).
GLA MG Rebel:

This is the GLA's new Machine-Gunner.
He uses the RPK 7.62 mm light machinegun with a drum magazine.
Available for all GLA factions.
(Credit goes for sgtmay@mchsi.com).
USA MG Ranger:

The American Machine-Gunner.
This soldier uses the M-249 SAW 5.56 mm light machine gun.
Available for all US military branches.
(Also created by sgtmay@mchsi.com).
That's it for now.
The game manual will be updated soon with all the new units/abilities from the recent updates.
The release is coming soon (I'm not going to name dates or even time-frames, so don't bother to ask...).
Till then - No further updates. ;-)

Can you release an updated game manual?
Please..
I will do that soon.
That's one of my top-priority missions on my TODO list. ;-)
i thought priority #1 was to reply every question for this mod
I said it's just one of my top-priority missions. Not THE #1 ... ;-)
Anyway, is that a good thing or a bad thing that I answer every question about this mod?! :p
I didnt see that many tweaks for aicraft in this mod
You're right. There are just few minor modifications in the original Zero-Hour aircrafts + the addition of the Israeli and Syrian ones.
That's mainly because I think that the airplanes in Zero-Hour are good enough for my mod, so I don't want to waste precious time on replacing good models.
hey abra when will the mod be released or how far is the progress?
The mod is 99.5% done!
The problem is that I work very slowly these days because I almost don't have available time.
So I can't say an exact release date, but I can say that I WILL release this mod, as "soon" as I can.
(NOTE: I know that it isn't the first time I say this, but that's the truth).
i wonder...
now all graphics increase...
will the game be heavvier to run ? or wil it be sort of the same ballast for your computer ?
(not my problem actually, cuz i have a really good pc, but my brother...)
"A Global Crisis" has the same minimum system requirements as Zero-Hour.
So it works well even on slow computers. :-)
(I have a slow PC myself... ;-P )
