Welcome to C&C Generals Zero Hour : "A GLOBAL CRISIS".

This mod brings Israel and Syria (from the popular MidEast Crisis total conversion mod made by Isotx, with their permission) with their full unique armies - into C&C Generals: Zero Hour expansion pack, with all of the original Zero Hour factions, campaigns and Generals challenge mission, BUT with some great new changes like realistic skins and models, new units and an additional United Nations Boss General!

Available Factions:

Israel:

To counter their smaller numbers, Israel prefers high quality units over quantity, but their units  are very expensive.
- Specializations: Armored Division, Air-Force Commander, Sayeret Special-Forces.

Syria:

Syria relies on mass numbers of outdated but cheap and reliable Russian equipment and fortified positions.
- Specializations: Republican Guard, Hezbollah Component, Iranian reinforcements.

USA:
 
- USA main faction.

- Air Force General.

- Superweapon General.

- Laser General.

GLA:

- GLA main faction.

- Toxin General.

- Demolition General.

- Stealth General.

China:

- China main faction.

- Tank General.

- Infantry General.

- Nuke General.

United Nations - Boss General:

General Leang, the Chinese Boss General from the last Generals Challenge mission, is unlocked!
Now she is a U.N. Boss General
That's why she controls units from all the original factions and even more! ... 
Additionally, the U.N. Boss General has some unique units too! (It's a little surprise... ).
The U.N. Boss Genera can be played as Human player side for Multiplayer and Skirmish games (No AI support except for the last Generals challenge mission).

If you liked Mideast Crisis total conversion mod but you still wanted to play Zero Hour - Well, you don't have to choose anymore!

Yes! After almost 2 years of development and anticipation - A Global Crisis is finally released!
- go on, download it now, and play it:


For those of you who are new to A Global Crisis, this mod brings Israel and Syria (from the popular Mideast Crisis total conversion mod made by Isotx, with their permission) with their full unique armies - into C&C Generals: Zero Hour expansion pack, with all of the original ZH factions, campaigns and Generals Challenge missions, BUT with some great new changes like realistic models/skins, new units (for all sides) + an additional United Nations Boss General!

This mod features:

  • Israel and Syria (modified from MeC) in addition to all factions from Zero-Hour + a special UN Boss General. That makes 15(!) playable factions!
  • Zero-Hour factions are modified and have new models and skins for some of the existing units (M1 Abrams-Crusader tanks, Humvees, Rangers, Rebels and more…) and some new units (M2 Bradley IFV, MLRS units, Machine-Gunners and more…).
  • For Israel and Syria: All units from MeC, including new units from MeC "lost Beta" version (Israeli Quads and Humvees, Hezbollah guerrillas…) + some new units and models, realistic skin changes and cameos. Few upgrade changes and some new abilities.
  • Boss General unlocked, heavily modified and turned into a UN Boss General!
  • Full AI support on ALL Skirmish maps (ZH + MeC + Bhones map-pack) for 14 factions (no AI support for the UN Boss General, except for the last Generals Challenge mission).
  • All original campaigns from Zero-Hour (which look MUCH better now with all the new graphics!).
  • All original Generals Challenge campaigns + Israel, Syria and UN Boss Generals Challenge campaigns (using the original missions + added support for these factions).
  • New logos, some new background screens + a modified ZH shell-map.
  • Updated game manual (You can also download it separately from here).

No.
You have to uninstall other mods before installing A Global Crisis.
This mod, as most other mods, requires to remove previously installed mods in order to work correctly.

2. Very nice how you managed to create 2 factions that is not like each other, or the rest, that still works. However, I think you need to rework the superweapon mechanic - having them mounted on vehicles instead of structures is nice, and also goes well with Isreal's mobile command centers, but a superweapon that travels in a path either needs to have more hitpoints or explode upon destruction, least it becomes inferior to the vanilla superweapons.

3. I like how you disable nothing of the the original game, and also adds units to vanilla faction, unlike most top score mods who disables campaign, and sometimes challenge.

4. The Syria voiceovers are freaking raspy, and consider getting more voiceactors onboard to add voice variety.

5. When I played Israel challenge vs Kassad, I noticed that I had no base defense that could effectively deal with tunnel attacks, due to them heving atrocious turning speed. But they don't require power, so I guess I could strategically cover more directions than one.

6. When playing Israel, WHAT, man, are those hovering missiles that mass abovehead and light up the ground with red? They cause serious framerate loss.

7. Israel's airfield plane (the big one that flies around and releases planes to attack enemy aircrafts) needs to be a controllable unit. The automated patrol pathing is not always reliable for anti air, or consider upping the limit to two.

8. Syria's only base defense vs aircraft is either manning missile troops inside their buildings, or anti-aircraft tanks in their Syrian Command Bunker. Sure, watchtowers can hold missile troops, but they are completely exposed to air and subsequently dies to it. Is the base defense supposed to require ground troops as well?

Usually this happens when you have other mods installed as well, or if there was an error during your download.

If you have any other mods for Generals/Zero-Hour - remove those mods (most mods cannot work together).
If you don't have other mods - try to uninstall A Global Crisis to check if Zero-Hour works well without this mod:
If Zero-Hour works well - download A Global Crisis mod again and then reinstall A Global Crisis.
If you Zero-Hour doesn't work even without any mod - re-install generals and zero-hour and then re-install the mod.

Before I download and install this mod, I want to make sure I'm not gonna shoot myself in the foot. I'm running Zero Hour from the First Decade pack with the unofficial 1.03 patch on Windows 7. Does anyone know if this mod is compatible with what I've got running? I'm hoping yes, it looks amazing.

As far as I know, you'll need the official 1.04 patch. Most ZH mods require it.

In addition, please make sure that Zero-Hour official 1.04 patch is installed.
