A new war rages between Israel and Syria, while the American and Chinese forces continue to fight against the GLA terrorists, turning the local Mid-East crisis into A GLOBAL CRISIS.
Welcome to C&C Generals Zero Hour : "A GLOBAL CRISIS".
This mod brings Israel and Syria (from the popular MidEast Crisis total conversion mod made by Isotx, with their permission) with their full unique armies - into C&C Generals: Zero Hour expansion pack, with all of the original Zero Hour factions, campaigns and Generals challenge mission, BUT with some great new changes like realistic skins and models and some new units.
Available Factions:
Israel:
To counter their smaller numbers, Israel prefers high quality units over quantity, but their units are very expensive.
Syria:
Syria relies on mass numbers of outdated but cheap and reliable Russian equipment and fortified positions.
USA:
- USA main faction.
- Air Force General.
- Superweapon General.
- Laser General.
GLA:
- GLA main faction.
- Toxin General.
- Demolition General.
- Stealth General.
China:
- China main faction.
- Tank General.
- Infantry General.
- Nuke General.
Boss General:
General Leang, the Chinese Boss General from the last Generals Challenge mission, is now unlocked and can be played as Human player side for Multiplayer and Skirmish games (No AI support except for the last Generals challenge mission). Some units of this General had been altered (it's a little surprise) so now there is a logical reason why she controls units from all the original factions (and even more...).

If you liked Mideast Crisis total conversion mod but you still wanted to play Zero Hour - Well, you don't have to choose anymore!

Here is a news update from China:
The Chinese empire has got some new weapons now for its mighty army.
Here are the new Chinese units:
Type-98 Super-Battlemaster Tank:

The Type-98 is a modern Chinese MBT, based on the Russian T-72 tank chassis with a new modern turret. The Type-98 is armed with more powerful gun and has a better armor than the old Type-59 Battlemaster tank.
Only the Chinese Tank General can build the Type-98 tank, but the regular Chinese Army can also get this tank through the Reinforcement Pad, if they capture it.

TOS-1 MLRS:

The TOS-1 is a powerful 30-barrel multiple rocket launcher mounted on a tank chassis. The TOS-1 MLRS creates a fire-storm where its rockets hit, and can be upgraded with black-napalm warheads.
The TOS-1 is available only for the Chinese Tank General.

BM-30 Smerch MLRS:

The Smerch is a heavy long-range Multi-Launch Rocket System. Its 300mm rockets are more powerful and have a greater range than the TOS-1 220mm rockets, but the Smerch can fire "only" 12 rockets at a time. The Smerch's rockets also create a fire-storm and can be upgraded with black-napalm warheads as well.
The BM-30 Smerch MLRS replaces the Nuke-Cannon for the Chinese Infantry General.

I've already said that not too long ago.
I just need some time to finish the last few things... (I even listed exactly what those things are just few days ago).
I WILL release this mod WHEN IT'S DONE!

Why don't you ask some questions about the factions, units, balance, superweapons, etc.?
O.k. Listen guys, I know you always ask about it because you want to play this mod already.
But believe me, I want to release it too. Probably even more than you do.
So just be patient and for the million time: PLEASE don't bug me about the release!
Eventually you'll get what you (and me) want. ;-)
I know it would be hard to answer, but any idea roughly how far through you are with this one?

Too long... :p
"A Global Crisis" was announced on ModDB in last February (about 6 month ago).
But I've been working on this mod more than a year now, although its development went on and off and wasn't consistent.
Don't worry though; I WILL release this mod, no matter what! ;-)
Pretty much the same damage, just a little-bit more powerful, so now the Chinese nuke makes the same damage as the Israeli nuke does.
Same thing goes for the American nuke.
The nukes don't make much more damage because otherwise the game would be totally unbalanced.
The nuke has to be powerful enough for a superweapon, but not too powerful so the enemy base (or the entire map...) would not be completely destroyed after just one hit.
So these are just tactical nukes. ;-)
