What is the different between the .exe file and .zip file?
exe files install them selfs while zip files you do your self
The .exe is an auto-installer...zip means you Extract them by your Self
downloading from zip files are better
just remove download managers they are bad for your computer

I personally played with Israel/Syria vs. USA/GLA/China and vice-versa on Easy/Medium/Hard difficulty levels and won!
The mod IS pretty balanced – and it wasn't easy to balance it (believe me…).
You just need to find out what's the best way to defeat your enemy, based on its weaknesses and your faction's advantages.

exe. files are auto installer fles and zip. files are for people that like to make modifications/ add mods to the zip. file.

There is no 'better';
Each file has its own purpose, with its own advantages and disadvantages:
The EXE file is an auto-installer – so it's easier and more user-friendly to install the mod with this file (recommended for most Windows users).
But the problem is that EXE files don't run on Macks.
The ZIP file is a compressed file containing the files needed for 'A Global Crisis'.
The files needed to be extracted and copied to the main Zero-Hour folder manually – so it's a bit more difficult to install this way.
BUT it's the ONLY way for Mack users to install this mod.
Additionally, many advanced Windows users prefer the ZIP file option because it enables them to have more control over the installation process.
This mod is pretty cool, but it laggs horribly for me. I could run Dawn of War 2 perfectly, so Im pretty sure it isn't a graphic problem, was there a patch or something that I missed?

I'm having issues in launching it, I get a 'Technical Difficulties' message when it appears that its about ready to go to the game and I did exactly as the read me file said.

When i press on the syrian bunker theres hezbollah special forces but it says it requires general promotion but i dont see hezbollah in general promotion
You need to gain 3-Star general promotion in order to unlock the Hezbollah component or any other specialization (for Syria or Israel).
It does NOT mean that Hezbollah is in the general promotion abilities - it's NOT there.
When you get a 3-Star general rank - the specializations are unlocked - and you can choose to purchase one of them (including Hezbollah) in the Syrian bunker.

I've tried installing this mod the way it says in the read me file, but I keep getting a 'Technical Difficulties' message saying that I've encountered a serious error. I don't have any other mods on when I unzipped the files into the zero hour main directory and this is the only mod that seems to have this problem. Could someone tell me if there's anything else that I'm supposed to do prior to either installing the mod or starting the game up?

Why I get an error every time a try to edit the Merkava's health and build cost?...while all other units just work fine
Because A Global Crisis is a VERY BIG mod.
You probably edit it in the FinalBIG editor - but you shouldn't.
You need to extract all the files from the mod's .BIG file, edit the relevant .ini file and then repack all the mod files back to the .BIG file.
Anyway - if you edit the mod for your own personal use only(!) it's OK...
BUT please do NOT upload the changed mod to the internet!

Okay, so, the game works, but I get a bunch of "MISSING:"Insert Unit/Tooltip." Have I done something wrong?
