A new war rages between Israel and Syria, while the USA and China continue to fight against the GLA, turning the local Mid-East crisis into A GLOBAL CRISIS. "A_Global_Crisis" brings Israel and Syria (from the Mideast Crisis total conversion mod made by Isotx, with their permission) into C&C Zero Hour, with all of the original C&C ZH factions, campaigns and Generals challenge missions, BUT with some great new changes like realistic artwork and new units + an additional United-Nations Boss General!

It's the files needed to install A Global Crisis mod for C&C Zero-Hour, packed in a compressed ZIP file.
Dude I must say among all of the Zero hour mods yours ranks #2 in my book just a hairs width away from Progen. If you added the Progen changes and made the boss generals the UN in a 2.0 version of the mod I could very well switch back. My favorite is syria and this is coming from an american! Also the only problem I feel is bad for this mod is the lack of additions to the Vanilla China. Don't worry Progen is free to copy as long as you credit the makers. and the bosses are not as overpowered and You might be able to add AI for them something Progen lacks.
What is the different between the .exe file and .zip file?
exe files install them selfs while zip files you do your self

ı download and play this mod and ı destruckted lol... no balance for ısrael and syria vs america gla and china lololol...
I personally played with Israel/Syria vs. USA/GLA/China and vice-versa on Easy/Medium/Hard difficulty levels and won!
The mod IS pretty balanced – and it wasn't easy to balance it (believe me…).
You just need to find out what's the best way to defeat your enemy, based on its weaknesses and your faction's advantages.

I have played this mod before but that was when this came out.
good mod but add more units and a installer/and or a better installer next time.

exe. files are auto installer fles and zip. files are for people that like to make modifications/ add mods to the zip. file.

There is no 'better';
Each file has its own purpose, with its own advantages and disadvantages:
The EXE file is an auto-installer – so it's easier and more user-friendly to install the mod with this file (recommended for most Windows users).
But the problem is that EXE files don't run on Macks.
The ZIP file is a compressed file containing the files needed for 'A Global Crisis'.
The files needed to be extracted and copied to the main Zero-Hour folder manually – so it's a bit more difficult to install this way.
BUT it's the ONLY way for Mack users to install this mod.
Additionally, many advanced Windows users prefer the ZIP file option because it enables them to have more control over the installation process.
This mod is pretty cool, but it laggs horribly for me. I could run Dawn of War 2 perfectly, so Im pretty sure it isn't a graphic problem, was there a patch or something that I missed?

Before installing 'A Global Crisis' mod, please make sure to install the latest patch for Zero Hour (1.04).
Manual install is the best i love it :D
