The Northern Excursion mod (once called the "Extreme Realism" mod) is a game-enhancement mod that introduces a new faction, the "North American Coalition" (NAC), re-introduces the jet fighter/bomber air vehicle types from Battlefield 2 and also brings back old features which were left out of the original Battlefield 2142 such as stationary machine guns, visual effects, unused voice overs and more.

Are you going to upload what the light soldier's face will look like? Plus I like how you made the face slightly dirty, adds to the realism :)

Yeah, we're very close to finishing that as well! I'll probably upload them tomorrow or the day after.

Oh and it's good that you noticed the dirt-details on the soldier's face, I tried to make the face look more like a veteran and have that type of "battle-hardened" look on him. The light soldier's face however will look more like a new-guy or "rookie" hence will have hardly any dirt on his face.

After reading the description that you don't have a model for the NAC helmet, what about this render you guys did? what happened to that?

The helmet wasn't good enough, and we need multiple helmets (Recon, Assault, Support) and backpacks for the kits but we couldn't find anyone to do them, so we just decided to use the EU ones but reskin them.

I personally like that helmet. Could you at least use it for the recon? The recon always seems to have a helmet that covers their face.
PS: could I look forward to seeing some generic, snow, and desert skins?

Soldier's Body:
Model: Koker
Texture: Koker

Soldier's Head:
Model: Dtneter
UV: Dtneter
Texture: Jinzor

We finally got the NAC heavy soldier's head finished, now we just got to finish the NAC light soldier's head (UPDATE: it's now done, take a look at the next image), retexture the EU kit to fit the NAC (we can't get anyone to model and texture a new helmet/kit for the NAC so we have to retexture the EU one. It will fit perfectly for the NAC faction) and then it will be ready to rig and export into the game (alpha version of the mod will then be released to the public for testing once both the NAC heavy and light soldiers are ready).

NOTE: The eyes and mouth will be able to move once it has been rigged.
