Battlefield 2142 PC, Mac game

i think the game is better then battlefield 2 online. but i like single player, thats to bad + i have a macbook with windows. all battlefield have crasht more than 600 times. aaaaa

What are you two talking about? Its a good game. I don't know what servers you've been on about finding all these hackers/glitchers, I have only come across 3 hackers and 6 glitchers throughout my entire experience of 2142 and I bought this game in 2006.

For punbuster. Go to www.evenbalance.com click on Bf2142 and go to pb setup. Update it and on your firewall go to execptions and allow battlefield2142 and pb A and B(if you can find it.) Also try running pb A and B before starting.

Battled2142, I would say is okay...(4/10) Infantry combat is very fun, and you get to the point your one man, When your Tungston AP rounds take like half clip(in full auto) to kill someone. Also for aiming. Aim were there going, Not on them with moving targets. I give it a 4 it is pretty fun to play every once in a while, But if you do play. Please bring freinds only way it's gonna be fun. Also make sure to update your pc's and video cards.

This game is not worth buying. Ive bought it in 2006 when it came out.
Also the so called booser pack. Its sad to see how the game degrated with every update. More and more bugs appeared instead of dissappearing.
Cheaters, Glitchers and Hackers additionally destroy the gameplay.
The punkbuster anti cheater software kicks random players who dont even cheat. Then there are these multiple game freezes, server crashes, game crashes to desktop and so on. The promised 64 Player servers are unstable as hell. Oh did I mention the stats tracking issues ? Recent example: end of march - february 1 week and a half the stats werent tracked properly. Without informing the community. Glad they still were recorded somehow and have now been reinserted, but there have already been couple of times where the stats have been lost.

when I try to join Multiplayer it says that I need a patch or something. if anyone knows what patch this is please tell me. I got this game mostly for the online play and it disappoints me that I cant play online. if you can also include the download page for it. other than that this game is very fun. Thanks :D
