Its a very different game, different feature and most likely playstyle
i dont get to customize my cruisers in SOASE nor My starbases, This game dont even have planets unlike SOASE wich is all about capturing planets

i manage to see why your phaser shots penetrate the sheilds at times
in your weapons stats in the tactictypes file, your current weapons are set at PenetrateShield 0, Wich i beleive for the Game take it as random, while the Basic stats are all set at 1, wich never penetrated the sheilds
you should try that
Ok, my theory does not work, But i have a word about this, I beleive The fire rate are way to high, Toprs should reload less faster than they are, they feel like rapid fire gatling Torps XD to composante the sheilds shouldn't recharge that fast, in toehr words the battles should also last longer for the fun of it
- Sometimes the phasers will get through the shield and damage the hull directly(I dunno why this happens)
i beleive i may know the problem, thou i will double check and test my theory out first

nvm my last post i fogot to RE update my game when i removed the other mod so sorry man good game keep it up
somthing is wrong but i think i know why my game wont start i got french version of the game will this make a differences?
