You never played Zombie Master? That's a crime punishible by death for anyone who owns HL2! And by death I mean missing out on the best mod ever, since the alternative is hardly living.

This mod and Research and development have made the wait for new half life games much more endurable. Keep up the good work :)

That racing mode looks so cool. I'd love too see larger more complex maps for it. Maybe I'm biased since I used to play a lot of trackmania ;P

I hate to say it but this mod is becoming a bad joke. It's great that they are remaking half life but please don't invest so much effort hyping yourselves up when you have completely unrealistic deadlines. It would be upsetting to find out there is nothing hidden and what you've shown us is all you got. Yes it's all very pretty but it's not even a sliver of a finished 6 hour long game.

Looking forward to your 2011 apology update.

I'd say PVKII looks much better but AoC is very epic to play. Maps like helms deep can be very entertaining.

Very well made mod. Here's a mini review;

-New enemies to fight!
-Manhack gameplay was brilliant!
-New more logical weapon system was well done.
-New weapons were fun to use.
-Some nice 'set battles' towards the end.
-The new music was great.

-The story felt a little forced at times.
-Weird to have alien grunts/controllers allied with the rebels as 'the good guys'.
-APC driving sequence had poor level design. Felt like a driving down a corridor much less then a city.
-Being combine felt very 'un-combine' like. To me it seemed the combined were portrayed as having more humanity than there enemies. To help this the enemy rebels could have used some dialogue, at more times you could have been given faceless combine allies to the player, the banter/dialogue between the combine could be kept back a bit etc. The fact that the rebels had a host of strange aliens on there side didn't help much either.
-As 100 other people said 'Alyx Gun!?', rename it automatic pistol.

If FH2 switched to the UDK it would be the better then the best thing ever (the best thing ever is FH2 for BF2 btw).

Thanks for making this!

The Germans had shortages of equipment and tanks on all fronts, so they had to be as resourceful as possible. The frontline needs didn't really communicate well with what was actually being manufactured in Germany though; enter the unreliable heavy tanks.
