Horse Armor will never get old. :P I can already tell this is going to be my favorite Elder Scrolls game ever. And yes, I consider this it's own Elder Scrolls game because of how much time and effort was put into it. Can't wait, keep it up!

Dwemer weren't actually dwarves in terms of height. They were probably average height for a mer, so there wouldn't be any need for a non human form. Just Dwemer armor and weapons.

You could lower the unit size in the options menu? Or just... Not put so much thought into it. It's a video game. It can't be 100% accurate to the lore. :P

The female lords isn't a bug. Talk to them and they tell you they don't fight in the battles, they just lead their House. Lord Manderly is the same, though for a different reason.

I think the other bug you're describing is due to playing with cheats on. Or using cheats to level up your character past a certain point.

They removed a lot of features and mechanics that made the series great. And replaced them with some flashy stuff that didn't have much substance.

Not sure about the coloring of the armor. If this is supposed to be Mirkwood Elves, wouldn't they try to use more browns and greens to hide among the tree's? This armor looks like it would better fit Elves from Lindon or Imladris.
