What about an upgrade at a certain level that gives him heavy armor? Doesn't make much sense that he wears a robe in battle, seeing as he's an Elf-lord/warrior and not a wizard :P

The BFME 1 style is more balanced strategically imo. As you said, some people's base building makes it extremely easy to go through and take them out. The BFME 1 style puts everyone on equal footing, and it makes you actually think about which buildings you want first, where you should put them, etc etc.

Probably because it was really difficult making The North attack the Westerlands. Even with a couple starting locations in that area. It makes sense that the Riverlands and the North are combined if you think about it. Edmure Tully is Robb's uncle. Robb is King in the North. So they're essentially one faction during the war.

It kind of makes sense. They're crippling your economy. They could kill that unit, while you get money from the farm to make a new one. Or they could destroy the farm, making you spend money on a new one and -then- destroy the unit, again making you lose money. Isengard did it to Rohan. Focusing on destroying the farms and villages, rather than marching out immediately to destroy the men.

I think what he meant is that the books Azog and the movies Azog are two different characters, story-wise. Since this is the movie version of Azog, there's no reason he should be affected by the books version. Just like if it was the book version, they would not have given him the metal hook for a hand.

They continued to fight into the Fourth Age until Aragorn and Eomer, Rohan and Gondor, led a series of campaigns against them. Most likely a peace treaty was agreed upon at some point. Gondor reclaimed it's lands to the south as well.

i just see it as an added layer of difficulty for the player. Even on the hardest possible, the AI is fairly easy and predictable. They need the handicap to be a challenge. :P

I think more purple and less green would look better personally. Or less purple and more green, but there are already plenty of factions that use green primarily. The colors together remind me of Barney and don't exactly fit a military fighting force :P Just my opinion! I love Dorwinion either way and I really like the shoulder-plates!

Disappointing but understandable. I would much rather have it removed than have it be buggy and prone to crashes. And with all the new heroes and features added, I would say that is a very good trade-off :D

I think the Exploration modus has the least practicality. That would be my choice to be replaced. The maps aren't randomly generated, so having to explore doesn't -really- change much. Play the map once and you know where everything is just about.

I wish I could upvote this twice! :P I'm mainly a defensive player, and love playing the maps where you have to defend like Minas Tirith or the Hornburg. So this mode would be awesome to me.

True enough. I just think it might be more... Intimidating if it weren't so open. It IS a fortress after all, even if it is in ruins. As it is right now, it doesn't look very secure.
