The Arkenguard forms the elite of the King Under The Mountain. Few foes can stand before their massive two-handed maces, making them one of the strongest infantry units in the game.
Wow, the enemy will tremble before these the fiercest warriors and their crushing maces! Another job amazing done.

You should give these to Dain(EREBOR EDITION).Like on Level 10 when attacked 4 of them spawn near him and defend him.And cooldown of 200seconds

Slightly disappointed that they replaced their axes with maces, as I loved teaming these guys up with Gimli (I called them Mini-Gimlis :p ) but the armor and weapon they have now look way too awesome for me to make a big deal out of that

So epic but one question why have the axe throwers and the pikeman not this masks like the normal soldiers or this new unit arkenguard
Because we choose the Masks as a special piece of Equipment for our "modern" Erebor.
Sexy dwarves deserve sexy masks...
Masks are a status symbol, so only the elite wear Battle Maks on their helmets perhaps.
How can anyone not love that glorious beard?? ET you have done another phenomenal job, can't wait to see what is in store for Ered Luin.

Let me give you a small 'Making of':
Since the regular Soldiers are supposed to differ from the past Erebor, we choose the new Erebor Elite as our 'Legacy Dwarves'.
The Arkenguard are the royal defenders of Erebor, keeping the glorious memory of the Kingdom under the Mountain alive. Because of that they keep their armor unchanged, handing it over like a tradition.
To reflect that, they are modeled after Thrors royal guard from AUJ.
