Same here. Blitzkrieg, Eastern Front and Battle of the Bulge are all good but Normandy beats them all by quite a margin both in scope and gameplay.

Looks truly excellent people. Well done! Excellent idea to include the Marder II, Panzer III StuG III and most of all the Brummbär. They look good too and will make this third German faction again really unique.

Don't mind the Panther is here again, that one is always good to have and fills in a crucial spot with few good alternatives. They darkgrey camo looks very sinister by the way, I like!

Here's still hoping for a Flammpanzer III though. Doctrinespecific maybe? (fingers crossed). I would love to have a versatile German flametank that can take more than 2 bullets!

Also, I think it really shows the dedication of the devs of this mod by going the extra mile to ask a developer of another game for permission to use their units, all for the betterment of this mod and your gaming experience.

^^ You're so very right. While EF is an excellent mod in it's own right, after playing N44 & BK mods I can't go back to vanilla style gameplay with unrealistic damage, plus ugly (non Soviet) skins, team colors and unit occlusion.

Therefore, I'm elated Sweeten and his team are bringing the Russians to us, along with countless new units & skins!

Just have to say the quality of this mod is astounding.

It's obvious lots of love has gone in to this piece of art. The Soviet models and skins are great and the mod is immersive and looks and feels like an official expansion (which is great). Also I love the maps you added. You have my eternal gratitude for delivering EF!

Permit me to put forward a real minor issue though: will you consider removing unit occlusion and the teamcoloring (like BK or N44)? It's something that bothered me with vanilla CoH too, though I understand you wish to retain the original look and gameplay. It only will make it just that more realistic.

You're quite correct. The devs of N'44 also made quite a few Soviet models themselves though, and imported some parts from MoW (with permission of course!).

I suggest you go to the technical support forums of the mod's website:

Then see if your issue is already solved there. If not, post a message AND provide all the relevant details (when it crashes, how often, system specs etc). There are so many reasons a game could crash. Mod works perfectley fine for me - no stability issues at all - but there is always a possibility a game crashes once in a while. It happens with the best.

No one will/can help you now, you should at least provide some details. And being friendly helps, really. No hurt in tryin' I guess...

If you want the Soviets AND realistic damage (but lesser balance I guess), you should keep an eye out on the next version of the Normandy 1944 mod. Can't tell when that one will be finished though, but it should have all you want, and more.

I disagree. I have a whole lot more fun with Blitzkrieg than with vanilla CoH. The Blitzkrieg team did such an awesome job with all the new units skins and abilities. And yes, it can be a challenge, but that's a good thing imo. And you'll learn. Personally I am really thankful for this superb mod. I enjoy playing it a lot.

But this is just my opinion, as you have yours. Therefore, isn't it great that there are quite a few great mods (EF, BK, N44) for this game so everyone can find a mod that that caters to his taste?

Great choice of units & some good ideas people. Looks very promising - especially the Luchs. The Panzerwerfer is interesting too - will that be a Nebelwerfer on a Maultier chassis?

What? I've played the mod and I don't even own TOV. I'm sure it was the latest version. It worked fine with OF and the original COH.
