This mod also works with Company of Heroes and/or Tales of Valor. Opposing Fronts is not required! There are many features that I added, for example: - a much more realistic Weapon damage system - many new skins for infantry and tanks (and wrecks) also including many of my own made tank skins - many new units for all factions - modified and enlarged Commander Trees (now 16 Upgrades!) - new abilities - new sounds - recommended new maps included

Yes but they didn't leave gaping holes where the side MGs used to be.

Um, it's completely new? It is not the same tank? Google it? Think about it a little?

And this will used as target practice? I mean unless it gets a higher rof than the M5, then it might survive long enough to kill a bike or two.

Furman Jan 27 2012 replied:

Come on, it can even kill a tank with some luck, It may be a very nice early-game unit.
But I don't think that It would last for long...

I comment that actually appreciates this.

Not that it's some war winning but honestly, what're you lot paying for this? Absolutely nothing. It's a lovely model, comment on that would you?

Because as any good Allies player knows, the M5 is **** and this is just the one before it. Unless this gets put earlier it's going to be a cheaper piece of ****.

Super_battle_droid Jan 26 2012 replied:

Well I like the M5 its fast and if you can use it right, its great little pain in the ***, I have disabled a tiger with one, now that was a funny game, it comes down to the saying "its not the size that counts, its how you use it".

+1 vote     reply to comment
QuakeRiley Jan 26 2012 replied:

Some how I can only think the enemy was a complete retard, the M5 can't penetrate the Tiger while someone with half a mind would just one-shot it. Given the choice on the Americans of a M8 before depo upgrade and M5 after upgrade when Shermans are there, you pick the M8.

Calm down, all you do is bitch and moan on every single picture. Be glad that there's something new for the allies.

@PROkiller16 - Be glad that people like Aidas2,Chopin, Xalibur, Tankdestroyer and Eliw00d still take the time out of their lives to make new content for this game.

You know, even for the ungreatful, unappreciative ******** like yourself.

QuakeRiley Jan 27 2012 replied:

I like the fact they add new stuff, I don't like that when new stuff comes it tend to be less then good. I mean when they add stuff I don't tend to see them unless it's bots.

Even then I never complained about this, I said how the M5 on the US is a bit crap for it's place on the tech tree and it would be nice to have ealier. Maybe for the British, I can see this being nicer than a Tetrarch or Grayhound.

Here here lemme re-write history and give allies modern technology so that this mod will have no choice but to add an abrams hope there 'tech' is now good enough for you

QuakeRiley Jan 28 2012 replied:

I'm British, Abrams is meh to me. Once again I only insulted the M5's later arrival, earlier game it is nice but when you can simply get a Sherman instead it loses all point.

AwayPeskyFlies Jan 29 2012 replied:

Pretty much a mod thats goal now seems to be adding all vehicles available at the time, doesnt matter itll just be cool once they probably get 95% of everything deployed back then

Do you actually understand the point I was making? Let me slow it down so you can comprehend it; M5 is ****, M3 has to be earlier to be good.

I like this model- maybe blanking out the side MG mounts would've been better, maybe not (did they even bother filling those gaps IRL? Most brit tank conversions seemed pretty slapshod iirc)
Regardless of the usefulness of light tanks in a game where every soldier squad can be given anti armour weapons, this model is awesome.
And light, fast moving guns can cripple heavy tanks (damage engines or wheels, even disable the main gun if you're lucky) while costing, often, a lot less :)

It's just a matter of modifying the skin. It originaly had mgs on the sides, but the animotor got a bit sloppy...

I was playing the new beta mod is very good but still has its errors and creators had warned us eg we can not use the M4 Sherman 75mm, Chaffee light tank insurance But they will make corrections. many thanks to the creators who despite their personal obligations while seeking to further improve this game.

Is the M3A1 misnamed M5A1_Stuart in the game's model files (art/models/races/commonwealth/M5A1_Stuart)? I was just browsing around and considered throwing the model into a little tinkering of mine (with credit, ofc).

This little bugger is the predecessor of the Relic M5 Stuart light tank.
