Normandy '44: European Theater combines a higher level of realism with a more elaborate doctrine system, which incorporates almost 50 different military units that took part in the period of Jun-Sept 1944. This spectrum ranges from divisions of free Polish and French units serving under the main allied armies to volunteers from the Eastern Front that served in the German Wehrmacht. This is only a small portion of the doctrine variety however, as we feature numerous well known units of all factions as well. The mod also features numerous new abilities and custom made units each with a completely revamped size and structure. Between custom made units and structures with historically correct skins, Normandy '44 offers over 150 NEW UNITS, making for an almost endless variety of different scenarios and unit actions. Combined these factors provide for an experience unlike any other mod for CoH!

SG 43? Thats one hell one of a gun! Look more like auto cannon, is this gun common in the soviet arsenal? Wait, I thought this gun suppose to be mounted on two wheels due to its immense weight!

It was fairly common by our time frame, and it was normally mounted on wheels but there were versions on tripods. And TBH, we needed a mobile HMG for the soviets and there is no one who can properly animate a wheeled carriage version to be mobile

It was a pure balance thing, soviets don't have MG's and troop transports to offset their other strengths.
p.s awesome model!

EF planned to have a wheeled maxim machinegun. (though they should use this at the mean time me thinks, or atleast just a brittish Vicker, so they atleast have something for us to even the playing field.

ef is not the best mod i think this is better now dont rate down my comment its just my opinion and im just saying that ef is too much of an expantion pack while other mods fix the things that were not ok in the original
oh and could you guys look at the sturmtiger and fix it a little it has the wrong camouflage and its poor quality

^^ You're so very right. While EF is an excellent mod in it's own right, after playing N44 & BK mods I can't go back to vanilla style gameplay with unrealistic damage, plus ugly (non Soviet) skins, team colors and unit occlusion.

Therefore, I'm elated Sweeten and his team are bringing the Russians to us, along with countless new units & skins!

Sweeten and the other teammembers: you're doing great work!

And I indeed hope N44 2.0 will feature a revised Sturmtiger...

Yeah but after seeing how well other mods do with balancing the hole game, it kinda makes u think that all they do is add the Soviets to unbalance an already unbalanced game :/

The Maxim is used in MG Emplacements (they were more common - even in 44)
