I would like to present you my Blitzkrieg Mod. This Mod exists since the end of march this year but until now it was only a german release, without any english speech support. 

There are many features that I added, for expample a realistic wapon damage system I made. It´s the same system that is used in the actual BotB mod with my permission (Greetings to Halftrack). Here are the summarised main features of my mod:

- a much more realistic Weapon damage system (particularly the damage & penetration powers of tank guns)
- many new skins for infantry and tanks (and wrecks) also including many of my own made tank skins
- many new units for all factions
- modified and enlarged Commander Trees

This mod has only been an absolute Multiplayer mod because the AI can`t handle with tank crews. And since tanks don`t move and shoot without a crew inside no tanks are seen on the battlefield when you play againt the AI. So now with this new release I answer the call of duty from the german players for a single player version. So when you install my mod you can choose to install MP/SP or both.

The SP version has no tank crews anymore, so my absolute recommendation is to play the mp version if you battle against human players. Using the tank crews is a very nice feature.

My knowledge in optimizing the AI for the new units etc. is low so if you want to have hard battles you should use big maps (6/8p) when you play the sp version against AI! So if there is someone who has good experience in optimizing the KI please contact me!

Changes/ Bugfixes:
- PE HQ-Grenadiers (Builder Grenadiers) now have a different skin with "Erbsentarn" (= peadot camouflage)
- PE vehicles now have visible crews and drivers again
- wrong requirement tooltip of US Mortar HT fixed
- PE AT-Grenadiers of FHQ now also get the additional Panzerschreck after the ability was avtivated in the command-tree
- Stosstruppen-taktics reworked:
There is no Kettenfahrzeug Call-In anymore. Instead there is a upgrade that allows the regular buildable Kettenfahrzeug to request/build the Stosstruppen. Also Stosstruppen can be called-in from the border of the map as alternative.
- Stosstruppen now have different icons and portrait pictures

- Stosstruppen now have a different retreat-arrow for the retreat back to the Feldwebel (similar to the Airborne rertreat arrow)
- New vehicle: SdKfz 250/9 with 20 mm KwK, buildable for WM Blitzkrieg Doctrine. The 250/9 has a supression-ability.
- US Supplies Paradrop now has a shared timer
- Description error of US Airborne Doctrine fixed
- Commandos now have a green retreat arrow for the retreat back to the Glider (similar to the green retreat arrows or US Airbornes and Stosstruppen)
- AT-Grenadiers of PE AT doctrine can be buod in the Kampfgruppenkompanie again
- AT-Grenadiers of PE AT doctrine get +1 Panzerschreck again after the upgrade was bought
- 60 mm US Mortar grenades now have the correct detonation again
- New version of the 6P Map "Battle of Halbe"

Known (new) bugs in v1.6.0.3:

- WM Blitzkrieg Doctrine: SdKfz 250/9 has a pink skin when destroyed --> was already fixed but slipped trough and is now back in the release, dammit. :-)
- For some users the PE Hummel grenades didn't play any explosion sound on impact.

Ok this will be my last post (hopefully) I got it working and all I had to do was install it to my desktop then take those files and drop em in the COH TOV folder, I have no more pink / beige errors. GREAT MOD GUYS! KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK!

Sorry for a triple post but it seems that every time I install the patch, I get the pink buildings and units, please tell me what is wrong or fix this please. I love Blitzkrieg and I hate to see pink and untextured stuff in games, so thanks in advance for helping me out with this.

Sorry to be bothersome, but I would just like a suggestion on what to do, BK was installed on 2.601 (COH PATCH) and went in after I just finished reinstalling COH for it to work. It was awesomesauce until I saw PINK GERMANS! As I've stated before, it was the PE's Assault troops and all or their buildings were beige. Oh and about Noob55, i have had this mod before (earlier version) and the British are very powerful, provided that you use them right. (edit: I will try what you said but I will report back if that doesn't work thanks :)

I am trying to make in intelligent point, instead of asking u "Why are units pink" or "When will the next patch come out" I am pretty sure i said in my comment specifically that when i played as the British, i had my units go behind cover and in trenches. I did Not have them just rush the enemy and still they were slaughtered in seconds. I am Not trying to start an issue, i am just trying to make a Point. I did play as the Americans and i am very impressed. You did make them exactly like they should of been. There soldiers are averagly good, like they can aim and kill German infantry but obviously at the same time they'll take losses even behind good cover. That's what it was like in WW II. I like everything you added to America alot but the only suggestion i would make is that you should of make their infantry build fox holes instead of trenches. I don't know if it would be really hard to program that into the game or not but the American soldiers built fox holes and i'm not sure if they ever used trenches...... Also a random question i wanted to add, when i was playing as the Wermasht Republic or however it is you spell that, when you register the Defensive doctrine where do you get the improved defensive structures like the Anti Tank ones. I tried to improve my bunkers after getting the upgrade but the bunkers only had upgrades for: Medical, repair station, heavy Mg and i think a mortar one also

Have you really installed BK v1.60 BEFORE applying the lates patch? Uprgading from v1.5 with v1.6xx patches does NOT work.

If this isn't the problem: Have you tried completely deinstalling BK and then reinstalling v1.60 FULL with v1.603 patch to check if the error is still there? Mostly a reinstallation can get rid of those strange errors.

@N00b55: Sorry to say and I don't want to sound ahrsh, but this is the last time I'll be explaining this, I can't spent all my time around here. Seriously, you are like the only one who thinks that CW infantry is that weak. I recently played as British and slaugthered almost every german infantry I stumbeled over. Use cover and don't blindly rush at them (this applies to all infantry btw, not onyl the british), also use a Officer along with your troops and you should be fine. Remember that in BK the weapons do alot more damage then in vanilla CoH so using cover to your advantage and staying away from close-quarter weapons like MP40/StG44 is a MUST if your troops are equipped with Rifles (if it's vice versa: don't rush at rifle equipped guys with submachine guns, use cover or flank them, but if you jsut rush them they have plenty of time to kill your squad one by one, like in real-life).

Especially the Commandos are bad-ass units if used correclty [insert big exclamation mark here].

The British don't have the weakest infantry as you think, just check their unit stats in Corsix Mod-Studio yourself if you don't believe me.

I Really want to keep this mod but i want to download Eastern Fronts when it comes out. I think it would be really cool to add Eastern Fronts to what you guys did =D

BK works with all mods that don't alter vanilla CoH files. Usually big mods like Normandy 44 and Battle of the Bulge don't alter any CoH files and just put their files (like BK) in a seperate subfolder. Those files are then only loaded when BK is run so you can still play vanilla CoH and also other Mods as long as they also put their files in a own subfolder and don't replace original CoH files.

I'm pretty sure that EFM will also be compatible like the others already are.
