Bugs I found:
1. You crash a lot when you defend the miners against the ATST in JKO.
2. You lose all your weapons but gain the JKA blaster pistol on the first Doomgiver level.
3. If you're using MDA mode with lightsaber damage set to very high, Luke/Starkiller die prematurely in a cutscene facing Vader in the Death Star mission.
4. In Kylo vs Rey Ep7, Kylo gets Jaden's second lightsaber if Jaden is a dual wielder. The cutscenes also have camera problems if on MDA mode with lightsaber damage set to very high.
5. Kyle loses nearly all his weapons starting the Bespin R5 level.
I just got a consistent crash on Artus Topside. When I get on the first emplaced turret to help the miners against the AT-ST the game crashes after a few seconds. Still happens even if I do Level Select.
Cool. I'll send the bug report and information I've got over there.
I can't for the life of me figure out why the Jedi are friendly during Maul's POV in DotF. I figured it was something to do with the other mods I've got, so I did a fresh JKA reinstall with only mods being the full mod + patch provided here and I still get the same thing.
I've tried other POVs where you play Dark Side, thinking something is messed up with the factions, but the other scenarios like Fate of the Republic seem to work just fine. I'm somewhat stumped.
Something seems wrong with DOTF (Maul POV). When I start, Qui Gon and Obi Wan are friendly and I lose for attacking them.
Right. Well, I read from the NJO books that YVH stands for "Yuuzhan Vong Hunter", introduced early on in Star by Star.
Huh. Not for fighting Yuuzhan Vong then?
I'm happy as long as its a name I can say in public.
Western stuff:
SOMA - Humans are all dead. Only robots are still around, with several having different ideas to keep the legacy of humanity alive.
Colony (2016) - Aliens stomped Earth and put an occupation force on the planet. First few seasons are about the collaborationist government and the ruthless resistance forces - there are definite similarities between your mod and this show.
Remember Me: Cyberpunk game where people can put memories in and out of their head on demand. Naturally, some people became lunatics because of this, and the corporation providing this technology are doing so for nefarious reasons.
Eastern stuff:
Root Double - Some humans inexplicably gain the ability to read people's minds and put emotions into others. Most of these humans are put into a highly secured city so scared people don't attack them. LABO and some of the technology used to contain the aggressive telepaths put this into sci-fi.
Pokemon Undampening Series - Written by fanfic author Cornova, the collection of fanfics in the Undampening series are about the fallout of removing Pokemons' power limiters during the Diamond & Pearl series. The stories set early on are more survival horror, but the stories set a few years after are more in line with the feel of G-String's style.
Steins;Gate - A guy invents a microwave oven that can send messages to the past. SERN becomes aggressive about this and sets out to stop him. Steins;Gate 0 is more cyberpunk than the first, but the first provides context. The Soviet worldline in particular (1.382733) fits the G-String feel quite nicely. For example: Thevitalounge.net , Img.fireden.net
Psycho-Pass - Cyberpunk show where everyone has a special card that tells cops how close they are to becoming a criminal. This lets cops arrest people for being latent criminals, even if they haven't done anything wrong yet. Certainly close to the G-String feel.
Cool dood
This is why I wait for a mod to actually finish before playing.
Good thing Underhell is reasonably self-contained.
Is there a chance for advisor fights?
This guy has a demo of his implementation of an advisor fight, and only requests credit for usage: Youtube.com
The guy also supplied the source to his implementation in a github link.
I remember Alpha being the stage where only devs test. It's beta where others can test more when the very obvious stuff is fixed.
I, too, have found that most of my crashes are happening when I played as the Maldrood. Two happened when I was landing to attack a planet, another just after my ships warped into the space battle but before I get control.
You could have the potentially broken one up for the people who can still run it, and then replace it once you fix the issue.
Not unless Petroglyph leaks the source code and lets Corey legally keep it.
New engine. There certainly won't be cheats unless they deliberately put them in.
Because Mxthe is absolutely determined to keep Underhell free.
Working on Underhell instead of something that makes money is viewed as unwise.
Ahem.
How is this not 2.2? I hallucinated a 2.2 readme into existence in your tar.gz file!
Unless Mxthe puts in a new news thing that says "Yeah guys, we're working on it", complete with some screenshots, its on one of those "indefinite holds".
You will not have the new chapter for a long time. For comparison, note that Mxthe actually had photos of Chapter 1 maps when the Prologue released for the first time.
You won't have this for a while. I suspect early 2017.
I was around the last time he did this, and I knew I couldn't trust this guy this time.
Judging from his activity, it seems he went dark the day he said it was coming out.
In fact, it probably won't even be released this year.
The creator did stuff like this several times in the past, too.
After experiencing this mod, I got ambitions of my own to do a small polar cap mod myself. However, I did find that Valve actually left enough code to make a functioning advisor combat encounter. I even found a guy who put in the alterations needed to make this new kind of advisor: Github.com
Were you not aware that this functionality existed?
