I'm currently experiencing an issue with the SP Story missions. This is after you get the Proteus tome and just after you fight the Rheinland fleet on the way to the New Berlin jump hole.

What happens is that the game crashes to desktop. I've tried reloading from an earlier save (even from one before I got the Proteus Tome) but it just crashes. It seems to happen just after your escorts (Hakkera and some other dude) say that they cannot follow you. It seems to happen when Hakkera's about to speak (I'm guessing he's about to tell me to go through).

Any ideas on what could cause this or how to bring up a crashlog?

Just tried it now, beautiful changes to the game, can't wait to get out into the world.

However, I am experiencing a bit of an issue with the interface. It seems that if a sentence is too long, it doesn't wrap into the dialogue box (the box where your responses are located), like when you talk to Fox, you can select the answer where it comments on them not rescuing their guys, the rest of it just disappears out of the box.

Another one is the box for your weapon icon. It when you have a weapon equipped, it sits outside that box. It's not game shattering but it is somewhat annoying, if there's any way to fix it, please tell.

Handguns would be MUCH easier to find than rifles. In normal CoH, the squads can consist of 4 riflemen and 2 support weapons per squad. With this one, could you change the coding to have the squads armed mostly with pistols and a lucky couple armed with semi-auto rifles? Unless the survivors are military, they would most likely be armed with pistols or low end ventilators.

I recently thought about that south african vehicle anti-hijack system, the flamethrower one. I'm not sure how hard it would be to implement this but how about making that one of the upgrades? Basically you can upgrade almost every vehicle so that it'll have a flamethrower system built under the vehicle so that when it's activated, a burst of flame (short ranged) come out of the vehicle incinerating friend and foe alike. Say it feeds off the fuel of the vehicle so that when you activate it, it'll be damned deadly but it'll make you run outta fuel that much faster.

I'm in the place where you save Kruglov, the place before the scientist area. Now, if you remember the green shack near Kruglov's last stand, you'll know the spot I'm talking about. It seems like there's an invisible line across half the map where if I cross it, it crashes with an access violation, no out of memory message in the log.

I've tried it with everything set to the lowest settings available with 1024 x 768 even. Still happens every time I try to get to the other half of the map that contains the merc outpost near that crane.

I'm running an E8400 at 3.6 (45C at load) a GTX260 +216 Sonic, I've got 4 gigs of ram and set like 5 gigs of swap file. Anyone got a clue?

Solved the problem. Seemed to only happen during the first boot up of the game. I bumped everything to full and played again and it's all good now. Very nice mod but I do have some beef with the entire spawning thing. On the outpost to the Garbage, military and bandits spawn (usually at the same time) quite often meaning that when I'm done looting + sorting out loot from 1 set of kills, the game pauses for a bit and then another bunch appear.

By the way, has anyone figured out how to save Kruglov? I tried Ramboing it and was quite successful in killing most of the mercs but it seems like a bunch of rats and snorks spawned a while before I charged in, they killed almost everyone and they always get to Kruglov (Krugov?) before I do. Any way to shut off AI or make an invincible NPC? Or can I edit Krugov's stats to make him nigh on invincible?

Just recently installed and played this. So far so good, love the new graphics and add-ons. Big problem I'm encountering though and I hope someone can give me the solution or at least direct me to it.

If I'm in the setup menus, graphics, audio, etc, if I stay on for a little over 10 seconds the game seems to "lock up" for a bit and then the graphics get retarded. The buttons appear only as smudges and whatnot.

Also, while I was playing, I left the game for about 10 minutes while I did something and the graphics went haywire, it's not artifacting (like when the GPU is overloaded) but more like the textures exploded and went everywhere. The knife looked like concrete, the compass had 3 different textures rather than the compass, even reloading the save didn't fix it. Restarted the game and it was fine.

With regards to the snipers for the Red Army, they did have quite a lot of highly regarded snipers and as far as I remember their snipers (at least the more elite ones) had a higher kill count compared to their German counterparts. Also, the Germans did have to start training more snipers to counter the threat of the Russian snipers who were causing more than a little havoc on their troops.

Sorry to jump on the bandwagon but seriously, Hotshot, please stop playing games so much and concentrate on your english studies. I could find boat people with better english.

One last thing, is this going to follow the Russian Doctrine of war? What I mean by that is the way their tactics seem to mirror World War I tactics what with overwhelming artillery barrages and massed infantry charges.

Some bugs I've found that cause CTDs, not sure if it's reported, not sure if it's just my game. I'm using DX GOTY, no patches.
Trying to play BREAKOUT causes a CTD. Another CTD was caused by the following: I got the rescue the Llama guy quest, kill the n00bz, and get the painting quest. I let the n00bz leader live but he got killed by a patrolling agent. I picked up the body of the llama guy and went to the n00bz to tell them about their leader. It CTD'ed at that point.

Other problems I've encountered are: When starting the game, at times the dialogue text (like when you first speak to Phasmatis) never appear, seems to be solved by restart. Speech gets screwy and the text bubble on the top left looks like it's lagging like a dyslexic retarded monkey.

I did a full DX install, all options except for DX7, Nameless mod full install. I use the OpenGL renderer, if anyone can tell me what the right one to use is, it would be awesome.

All in all, this is one helluva mod. The bonus material sold it to me while I was installing.

I've tried going Hogosha hunting (or whatever their enemy is) near their bases but they never engage me. It seems as if all of them are intent on trading and not in defending themselves
