So Ive been playing this mod for a long long time, and Ive noticed that regardless of how much i improve my computer the game still seems to get really slow after 10 mins of playing a skirmish. Does anyone else experience this issue?
Well There has been issues with the infantry annihilate, so I would wait for that to get fixed. To answer your question about the infantry. The Panther was an amazing tank back in the day, of course its not a Tiger v1orv2 nor a King tiger, but it was still a powerhouse tank. If you put up an infantry squad against most tanks they will get ****** up. Just because the SAS are better trained does not mean they are more invulnerable against bullets and shells. This mod strips away that feature of normal COH, where more expensive infantry took less damage or had more health. So When you attack a tank you have to divide your infantry up so that they dont all get punished. This mod requires alot more micromanagement than the normal COH. It takes awhile to get use to it. well I wouldn't think that would effect anything, I figure that would make the campaign crash. I think the best thing would be to go back to the original kingdoms.
Have you modded the game at all?
I think you are having essentially the same issue as Jamestc94 (the guy below)'s problem. So make sure you have the right install path that matches your medieval 2 folder.
Make sure when you install it its in your steam folder not the default location the installer loads it to. So change the install path to /steam/steamapps/common/medieval 2 total war. If that does not work you need to delete all traces of both third age and medieval meaning after "delete local content" of medieval 2 you need to go into your common folder and delete the medievel 2 folder. then try it fresh. I hope that works man.

Eastern front uses a very clever system to have troops get covered by tanks and move them quickly. Your able to have infantry at least on one tank the T-34, its simmiler to the thank commander being able to garrison a tank. Maybe in the next update the guys could put in something like that.
I think it would be easier if they just made it so you could lock on infantry to a tank to follow behind at a very close distance, and have the tank automatically go slower. It would be far to much micro managing to have adjustable speeds on tanks for a game that already has an insane amount of micro managing.
When you say "you had the extended build menus" it sounds like its an option. This is just my inferring on what you said but I could be wrong. If I were good at coding id try to fix it myself off what you said but i'm not skilled enough.
PROkiller16, well ive reverted back to 4.02b and its very smooth gameplay with almost no lag at all, so id think it has something to do with maybe a new code that was instilled in 4.51. Perhaps the new release of blitzkrieg will have this changed. Anyway i'm assuming you've made this mod and very nice job. I find 4.02b is just as good as 4.51, probably cause I can run it better hahahaha.
Hi, Ive posted a few times about lag while playing this game either multi or solo, I have a beefy gaming computer gtx680, i7 3.08ghz, 8gigs of ram. I've tried many different approaches to fix it such as re install, update graphic drivers, defrag, overclock gpu. Yet the game still lags. Im wondering if there is a way to fix this. I think it might be that COh:Blitz needs more RAM usage or CPU power, cause my GPU seems to only be at 70% usage on high load. Anyone know of a solution? Perhaps a program that lets COH read all mem, or something like that. Thanks.
Corey, do you ever plan to return to the original ships blowing up slowly into small pieces. I found that it gave much more the epic feel compared to the present outright explosion. Very Good Mod by the way.
Can you play the campaign map in multiplayer cause I have 2 other friends who want to do that and there are 3 playable factions?
Stupid Question probably, but I have Thrauns Revenge and it says this is a total conversion mod, so will I lose the ability to play the vanilla EaW and Thrauns revenge?
Ive run the mod just by its self as well as with game booster which closes ram consuming programs and I still get the same problem, Ive got 8 Gigs of ram so I can't see that being the issue. Im still trying to work out what it is. Maybe ill find it or maybe the next update will fix it.
Ive been doing some experimenting with my issue I posted about earlier and have found that my Blitz 4.51 lags even when HD models are off. The 4.02b version ran silky smooth so Im trying to figure out what could be the cause of this lag. The lag is due to the amount of units that are on the map and amount of time the game has gone on for. Im beginning to think this is a coding problem cause as I mentioned before the last version did fine. To whoever made this game, awesome job love this mod to death, however this might be something you want to look into. Thanks.
You can shift click commands however this is more for movement, so if you want your units to go around an MG nest instead right into it you shift click them around. I suggest you start on easy with an ally AI and watch what they do, then master a command tree. Probably figured this out already sorry if this is all old news. Best of luck to you.
I get this sort of jerky lag as the game progresses. This didn't happen with the previous versions I played, they all ran crystal smooth. I tried reinstalling this mod fresh with many defrags to help clean up the disk space but still no luck. I have a Gtx 680 with an i7 so I can't think its my hardware. Does anyone else experience this and or have any solutions? Thank you.

I enjoy the fact that this mod has more effort and dedication than most skilled professionals put into their work. Honestly I think the signature was the coolest thing, but keep it up!!
The first season was great. But the seasons after that got just way to philosophical.
Well the problem here is that the engine cannot give a room for drastically improved AI so that means that the only way to make it harder is by giving them elite units. Sorry its a common annoyance that most game have.
So is this coming out this year at all?
I would like to see more units for all of the factions but other than that Im looking forward to this next version
